Derek Lopez

Derek serves as the District Manager for Mathnasium, overseeing multiple centers in the Central Texas area. With a strong background in education management and a passion for helping students excel, Derek is dedicated to ensuring that every Mathnasium center in the district delivers exceptional results and a transformative learning experience for students.

As District Manager, Derek works closely with Center Directors and their teams to maintain Mathnasium's high standards of instruction, customer service, and operational excellence. Derek is committed to supporting staff development, fostering strong relationships with families, and driving student success across the region.

When not managing the district, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, making the most of family activities and creating lasting memories together.

Elana Daigle

With over 20 years of experience in math education, Elana Daigle has dedicated her career to inspiring students and educators alike. She began her journey as an 8th-grade math teacher in public schools, where she also served as a mentor to teachers in Region 5. Her passion for teaching led her to work as an adjunct professor at Lamar Institute of Technology.

Elana holds a Master’s degree in Math Education from the University of Texas at Arlington and is Master Certified in the Mathnasium Method. She started her Mathnasium career over a decade ago, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to help students achieve success. Now serving as Director of Operations, Elana is committed to making math a fun and rewarding experience for every student.

Her favorite part of her role is witnessing students develop a love for math through the engaging and supportive environment at Mathnasium.
