Mr. Kevin

Instructor

I am a senior at Sutherland High School. I'm currently taking Multivariable Calculus. I've always enjoyed math because of the way logic can be used to break down and solve problems that interest me. I also find it fascinating how math can be applied to nearly everything. Outside of math, I enjoy playing chess and have participated in multiple tournaments.

Miss Sabrina

Instructor

Hi, I’m Miss Sabrina, a high school mathematics teacher. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and later earned a second Master’s in Mathematical Science from the University of North Florida. My biggest inspiration to become a mathematician is my mom. In her time, there was a common belief that women weren’t good at math, but she had a brilliant mathematical mind. She was the one who first taught me math, though she couldn’t pursue a math degree herself. I feel proud to have fulfilled her dream by becoming a mathematician. I know math can be intimidating—even with two degrees, it sometimes feels that way. But I see mathematics as a reflection of life: full of challenges that can seem scary, yet each one gives us a chance to grow stronger when we overcome it. That belief motivates me to keep learning. As a teacher, the moment I see my students’ eyes light up when they truly understand a concept is incredibly rewarding. That joy and excitement are what inspire me to continue teaching mathematics.

Miss Molly

Instructor

I am in my 5th year of teaching. I have had many different positions throughout my previous years of teaching. I have taught 8th grade Math, Math AIS (Academic Intervention Services), Regents Algebra 1 [for 8th Grade students], Regents Algebra 2 and Intermediate Algebra. This year I am teaching full time in the Greece school district. So I work to incorporate high school commencement level Math standards into trade programs such as Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Welding, Automotive work, etc. As far as my educational background, I graduated from SUNY Fredonia in December 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Mathematics Education (grades 7-12). I completed my Master's Degree in Mathematics Education (7-12) at SUNY Brockport back in December 2022. I first came across Mathnasium when I interned with them in the summer of 2015, and then returned as a part-time Instructor in the summer of 2020 and have stayed here ever since!

Mr. Arjun

Instructor

Hi, I’m Arjun. I’m a sophomore at Pittsford Mendon High School (MHS) where I’m taking Pre-Calculus and AP Statistics. I’m also a member of the MHS Math League and enjoy math competitions.  One of my greatest joys is helping students overcome their fear of math and become confident, successful students. I believe in meeting students wherever they are on their math journey and helping them realize their fullest potential. When I’m not at Mathnasium, you’ll probably find me at Pittsford Crew where I’m a coxswain or at MHS competing in a Masterminds trivia competition or preparing for Science Olympiad.

Mr. Mikail

Instructor

Mikail Is a junior at the University of Buffalo studying pre-medicine and psychology. In his free time, Mikail likes to work on cars, stock trading, and basketball. In addition, Mikail likes to devote his time outside of school and work to tennis by going to the gym daily and training for tennis. He hopes to become a psychiatrist so that he can make a difference in his community and help people who struggle with mental health.

Miss Mary Lee
