Chris holds a BS in Mathematics and an MAT in Math Education from Stony Brook University. Before opening Mathnasium of Plainview-Hicksville, he worked as a private tutor, teaching assistant, and Mathnasium instructor. He’s passionate about making math accessible, beautiful, and useful, which are values he sees reflected in the Mathnasium Method.
When he’s not helping students build confidence through math, Chris enjoys restoring antique tech, collecting board games, and playing Japanese mahjong.
Alan brings over 30 years of experience in technology, with roles at Microsoft and Proofpoint. He’s especially proud of his work promoting STEM access through Microsoft’s DigiGirlz program. A graduate of NYIT, Alan believes the problem-solving and critical thinking skills students build at Mathnasium prepare them for success in any field.
Outside the center, he enjoys strategy games and spending time with his energetic chocolate lab, Opie.
Adam earned his Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and has loved math since childhood. He’s passionate about making a positive impact on students by helping them see how math connects to everything around them.
At Mathnasium, Adam enjoys sharing that sense of connection and discovery with every student he teaches.
