Amrita

Center Director

Amrita has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University and started with Mathnasium in 2019 as an instructor. She's always had an appreciation for teaching math. She loves being able to see the difference she's making in a student's life when math becomes easier and fun for them! Amrita has a positive relationship with both students and parents alike and truly cares about their education.

Darren

Senior District Manager
Darren has a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University and has become a Certified Teacher for 5th-9th Grade Mathematics. After five years as a restaurant manager, Darren's management and business experience, coupled with his math and education background, brings a lot to our Mathnasium team. Before becoming our Area Manager, Darren was a Center Manager for 2 locations in South Florida, working with over 300 students and their families. Darren's wife is a Speech-Language Pathologist and former Special Education Support Facilitator for Broward County Schools. His father was a retired elementary school principal and his mother is a Pre-K teacher. Being that he comes from a family of educators, Darren has always had a passion for helping students learn math in a way that makes sense to them!
