Makenzie G

Makenzie is a high school senior with a passion for mathematics and helping others succeed. She is an active member of her school's Math Honor Society, where she serves as a volunteer math tutor and has participated in county-level math competitions. A dedicated straight-A student, Makenzie enjoys working with students of all ages and helping them build confidence in their math abilities. Her patience, enthusiasm, and strong academic background make her a valuable member of the Mathnasium of Plant City team. She is excited to inspire students and help them develop a positive attitude toward math.

Sariah Joseph

Sariah is a senior at Durant High School and an outstanding student with a strong academic record. She has successfully completed advanced AICE and AP mathematics courses and is also participating in Dual Enrollment studies. Sariah has a natural ability to connect with students and enjoys helping children learn and grow in confidence. Her warm personality, patience, and encouraging approach make her a favorite among the students she works with. Outside of school, she volunteers at her local church and is known for her sunny disposition and positive attitude. Sariah is excited to help Mathnasium students build strong math skills and discover that learning math can be both fun and rewarding.

Bethel Muluken

Meet Bethel, an enthusiastic instructor at Mathnasium of Plant City and a student of Strawberry Crest High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program! With excellent math skills and a warm, caring nature, Bethel loves helping students discover what they can achieve. Her dedication, sincerity, and encouraging approach help students feel comfortable asking questions, tackling challenges, and celebrating their progress. An aspiring physician, she is passionate about helping others find joy in learning. Outside the center, Bethel enjoys reading, peer tutoring, playing the drums, listening to music, and sketching. She also loves spending time with her family and helping her younger cousins with homework!

Chloe

Chloe is a Plant City local and graduate of Plant City High School, currently continuing her education at Hillsborough Community College and exploring a career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has loved math since childhood and brings that enthusiasm to her role at Mathnasium of Plant City. With her kind heart, warm personality, and playful wit, Chloe makes learning enjoyable and helps students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling new challenges. Her experience volunteering as a tutor for young learners complements her encouraging approach to building students’ confidence. Outside the center, she enjoys reading and watching her favorite TV shows.

Leah

Leah is a bright, friendly, and enthusiastic instructor who brings great energy and a positive attitude to the Mathnasium team. A student at Durant High School and a dual-enrolled college student, Leah is a natural leader who enjoys connecting with others and helping students feel comfortable and confident. She serves as President of Durant Unified Buddies and is actively involved in FBLA, where she has earned recognition at the district level and qualified for state competition. An aspiring doctor, Leah hopes to pursue a career in medicine and has a genuine passion for helping others. Outside of academics, she loves dancing, baking, volunteering, and spending time in her community.

Ramadevi VP

Ramadevi holds an engineering degree and built a career as a software engineer before becoming Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Plant City. Her belief in the Mathnasium Method deepened when it helped her own daughter catch up with peers and excel academically. 

Through volunteering in local schools and PTA involvement, Ramadevi has seen how tailored support transforms a child's confidence. She and her team are committed to making math engaging, rewarding, and fun, and to working closely with local educators to support every student's success.
