Greetings! I'm Maria Norville, the proud Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Pleasant Prairie. Before opening this center, I had a fulfilling career as an Assistant Principal and Middle School Math/Algebra teacher in Chicago Public Schools. My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (with endorsements in Math and LA) and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. My husband and I relocated from Chicago, IL to Fontana, WI in September 2021. We have two adorable puppies who keep us busy and entertained. Personally, I love staying active through activities like running, biking, and swimming. I accomplished my first full Ironman triathlon in August of 2023 (Mont Tremblant). Upon discovering the Mathnasium Method through recommendations from family and friends, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. As a former math teacher, I've witnessed students of all levels experience both confidence and challenges in math. My dedicated team and I will work closely with your child(ren) to ensure they grasp math concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I'm excited to contribute to the mathematical skills and confidence of the students in our community.
