Emma is the Center Director at the Mathnasium of Portage and a proud graduate of WMU. She spent over a decade working with youth in various school systems. She loves seeing students grow in confidence as they progress in their math journey.
When Emma is not at Mathnasium she enjoys cooking, hiking, and sewing. She is the proud mom to 3 fur babies Shelley (dog), Morris (cat), and Van Gogh (Cat).
Bryce loves helping students see that math isn't just about finding answers- it's about discovering the ideas and patterns behind them. As a big fan of calculus, he enjoys exploring the bigger picture and helping students work through challenging concepts step by step. One of His favorite moments is watching student's face when a new idea clicks.
If Bryce weren't teaching math he'd be happily be coaching basketball, helping players build confidence, teamwork, and strategy- skills that show up in math too!
Jaylin is a Computer Science graduate from Michigan Technological University with a passion for problem-solving and helping students build confidence in math. His favorite math class was statistics, and he especially enjoys concepts involving percentages, probability, and divisibility.
When he's not working with students, Jaylin enjoys playing video games, spending time with friends, and playing Mahjong. His analytical mindset and enthusiasm for learning make him a great resource for students of all ages.
