Birunthan holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Binghamton University. He began his career in education in 2016 as an 8th-grade history and science teacher in Brooklyn, New York. For seven years, he dedicated himself to building positive school cultures in the Bronx, fostering environments where students could thrive academically and personally. In the summer of 2024, Birunthan joined Mathnasium, eager to explore new opportunities in education while working closer to home. He is passionate about helping students discover the joy and understanding of mathematics, knowing that these skills will benefit them throughout their lives. Birunthan finds great fulfillment in seeing children light up as concepts begin to make sense, and he is excited to continue making a positive impact at Mathnasium.
Kiyomi loves using her passion for education, to help students reach their full potential when it comes not only to mathematics but learning in general. She uses her positive attitude and energy to encourage her students during each session and really gets excited when she can tell her students start to understand the topic they are working on. Kiyomi loves what she does and you can see that each day in the center by watching how she interacts with her students.
