Karen

Assistant Center Director
Karen graduated from Los Osos High School, and she got her Bachelor's Degree in Education with a Math emphasis. She also has a Single Subject Credential in Math from Cal State San Bernardino. She is currently a 6th grade Math Instructional aid at Deer Canyon Elementary. Her passion for teaching started in high school when she was just helping her friends with math, and she believes in empowering the next generation because they are the next leaders of this world. She truly enjoys working with students very much, and she always strive to show them that math is essential to have in their lives because everyone does use it on a daily basis whether they realize it or not. She has worked at Mathnasium since December 2018.

Nathaniel

Assistance Center Director

Nathaniel graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2018 with Cum Laude. He is currently pursuing Cyber Security at Cal State San Bernardino. He is an active church member with 15 years of both piano and keyboard experience. He also has experience with teaching from piano and Tae Kwon Do. He believes that math is everywhere and knowing the skills to solve the problem can help a person and the people around in the future. He has worked at Mathnasium since July 2019.

Juan

Assistant Center Director

Juan graduated from Montclair High School in 2018. He is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics. He has 3 years of teaching experience from being an AVID Tutor and a Student Mentor for IM-II Math at Montclair HS. He plans on becoming a High School Math teacher because he hopes he can inspire students in the way his past teachers have inspired him. He has worked at Mathnasium since December 2022.

Daniel

Instructor
Daniel Chen graduated from Los Osos High School in 2021. He is currently a Junior at University of California Riverside majoring in Biology. He enjoys teaching math and wants to make a difference in their life. He used to be our student at Mathnasium of Rancho Cucamonga. He has worked at Mathnasium since July 2020.

Marques

Instructor
Marques just graduated from Chaffey College with an Associate degree in Art & Science. He is currently enrolled at Cal State San Bernardino with a Major in Computer Science. He loves to teach Children. He has worked at Mathnasium since March 2021.

Mary

Instructor

Mary is currently attending UC Riverside to pursue a career in the medical field. She had been a student at Mathnasium since 2013 and had participated in a few Tri-Mathlon in the past. In her free time she likes to listen to music and hang out with family and friends. She enjoy helping the younger students and teaching them that math is not as scary as it looks and it is fun. She has worked at Mathnasium since July 2022

Joshua

Instructor
Joshua Clavecillas graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2022. He is currently a Second year at Chaffey college majoring in aerospace engineering. He enjoys teaching math, doing math, and spreading the beauty of mathematics. Next year he will transfer to Cal Poly Pomona pursuing aerospace engineering. He has worked at Mathnasium since August 2022.

Zoya

Instructor
Zoya Khawaja graduated from Los Osos High School in 2023. She is currently attending Chaffey Community College, with hopes of transferring to a 4-year university in the fall of 2025. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical field in the future. In her free time, Zoya enjoys making jewelry and listening to music. Math has always been one of Zoya’s favorite subjects, and she wants to show people that math is fun and can be approached like a puzzle or game. Zoya has worked for Mathnasium since April 2023.

Precious

Instructor
Precious Ani is a current freshman at Azusa Pacific University and is majoring in political science and humanities as a member of the APU Honors College. She graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2023 as a success in choir and theatre, having starred in the RCHS 2023 production of Little Shop of Horrors. She loves to sing, enjoys music, and is passionate about her care for children. Precious seeks a career in public policy that will allow her to help make changes to ensure the success of our future generations. She has worked at Mathnasium since May 2023

Catalina

Instructor
Catalina is currently attending Chaffey College. She enjoys reading and listening to music in her spare time. She has helped Children in Tutoring since High School. She loves Science and Math. She plans teach or work in the medical field. She has worked at Mathnasium since August 2023.

Andrey

Instructor
Andrey is a current junior at Los Osos High School. She has worked with children before, and loves inspiring and watching them grow. She has taken Calculus BC in the past, and is currently taking Statistics. In her free time she likes watching TV shows, painting, and listening to music. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in business. She has worked at Mathnasium since August 2023.

Leo

Instructor

Leo graduated from Rancho Cucamonga high school and He is currently attending Chaffey College. He plans to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona to become an aerospace engineer. He enjoys tutoring and communicating with students a lot, and He is also thinking of getting another degree in education to be a high school teacher. He has worked at Mathnasium since December 2023.
