IN CENTER SAFETY GUIDELINES

Jun 24, 2020 | Rancho Penasquitos

Greetings Parents! Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we dealt with California’s state-wide Stay At Home orders. As we reopen, we are changing some policies and center practices to better protect our students and instructors. Please note that we will continue to offer our Mathnasium @Home services.

Face Coverings: All students and employees must wear a face mask. Employees will also be wearing face shields. We cannot make exceptions at this time. If your student needs a face mask, please contact us.

Waiver: Parent will need to complete a liability waiver form before starting the session.

Student Health:  If your student is feeling sick or has a runny nose, cough, fever etc. we will reschedule your session when they are feeling better. Remember that you have the option to do an @Home session as well.

New Sign In/Out Procedures:

1.  When your student enters the center, we will log them in. We will use a Non-Contact Infrared Thermomenters to take temperaturs.

 2.  They will be asked to use hand sanitizer on the front or wash their hands and be directed to their seat by the instructor.

3.  Seats are more than just 6 feet apart. Their binder will be on the table.

4. Only Students and Instructors are allowed to be inside the center. After your student’s session has ended, we will log them out. They will be asked to wash their hands again. We strongly ask parents to please be on time in picking up the kids.  We will have no seats for waitingbecause we are obliged to limit the number of people in the facility.  Students do not need to use the computer to check in/out.

 Cleaning and Sanitation Procedures:

All high traffic surfaces will be cleaned hourly.   The center will be closed after each block for   this.  Students will be let in after proper   cleaning and sanitation of high-touch areas.     Student binders will now be handled by staff   only. All Students should bring their own   writing tools and water bottles. Drinking   water are available for refills.

We will still have all of our prizes and fun   rewards! All rewards points are maintained   using LiveSchool App instead of our old star   cards. Denomination has changed but   awarding and point system were just   converted.  Students will not be allowed to open the prize cabinets like before.  The Instructors will be glad to retrieve rewards your student requests. If the student choose to have a snack as their reward, they are not allowed to eat at the center.

Summary

We take great satisfaction in being a student first organization at Mathnasium of Rancho Penasquitos. In addition to these changes to our center, we promise to adhere to strict cleaning guidelines. We will continue to adopt additional safety measures as they are announced. There is nothing more important to us than providing a safe, positive atmosphere for your children to learn. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. Spots will fill quickly but we will do our best to make sure we can serve everyone interested in restarting their lessons! We look forward to seeing you soon!
