Rianne

Assistant Center Director

Rianne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Longwood University and is currently earning her Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University. Her love for math and science drives her passion for education, and she enjoys helping students feel confident in their skills.  

Outside of Mathnasium, Rianne spends her time reading, practicing photography, and engaging in community service. She brings both academic rigor and a caring approach to her role, supporting students every step of the way. 

Jenesis

Lead Instructor

Jenesis is a Virginia Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. While she excelled in math from an early age, her passion truly ignited after taking calculus in high school. Since then, she’s explored advanced math topics on her own just for fun!  

As a Lead Instructor, Jenesis aims to make math both accessible and exciting for her students. She hopes to inspire others to develop a genuine appreciation for math, just as she did. 

Josh

Instructor

Josh is a senior at Virginia Tech majoring in Computer Science. Having been supported by mentors and friends while learning challenging topics like calculus and linear algebra, he knows how powerful guidance can be in a student’s math journey. Josh is passionate about helping students connect with math in a way that makes sense.  

At Mathnasium, he aims to return the favor by making math more approachable and helping students gain confidence in their problem-solving abilities. 

Mason

Instructor

Mason Wright is a graduate of the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes and currently pursuing a degree in Physics at Virginia Tech. His strong foundation in STEM and dedication to learning make him a valuable instructor at Mathnasium. Mason enjoys helping students see the logic and beauty in math while building their problem-solving skills.  

Outside of the center, his favorite hobby is going to the gym, where he continues to push himself and stay active.
