Gustavo serves as a point of leadership at our Red Rock center and is deeply committed to helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of math. He believes math should make sense and feel engaging, and he enjoys guiding students through concepts in a clear, supportive way.
Gustavo is especially focused on strengthening foundational skills so students can succeed both in and out of the classroom. He values building strong relationships with students and families and is dedicated to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where progress is intentional and every student feels supported.
Hi, my name is Alvin, I’m 16, and I currently go to A-TECH. I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I can help make a change for those who don’t find math as enjoyable as I do. Being part of the reason why students are more confident in their math capabilities is also rewarding.
Bryson is currently a nursing student at Galen: College of Nursing in Las Vegas. He was born in Hawaii and moved to Las Vegas, and started school. He loves the concepts of how math works and teaches students to help them understand math a little bit better and grow their confidence in math. Outside of Mathnasium, Bryson enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends, going on hikes, going to concerts, and studying for nursing school.
My name is Ellie, and I am a 17-year-old student at West Career and Technical Academy. I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I like helping students gain confidence in math and seeing their progress over time.
Hello! My name is Frank, I'm 16 years old, and I'm going into my Junior year at Clark High School. I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I get to help young kids out with math, which helps them grow and become great Mathematicians! Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am currently majoring in elementary education at UNLV. I’ve always enjoyed helping others, so I love seeing kids succeed and seeing their confidence in math improve. As an instructor, I believe I can make a difference in students’ education. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy playing sports such as swimming and color guard, working out, listening to music, going to karaoke, hanging out with friends, and crafting.
Hello, my name is Michael! I am 18 years old and will be attending MIT in the fall. I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I've always had a passion for math and want to help others feel more confident in it, especially those who are entering new math classes with concepts they haven't seen. Michael B is currently studying Mathematics at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). He enjoys diving into complex concepts and sharing that excitement with students in ways that make math both clear and enjoyable. His thoughtful and patient approach helps learners feel supported and empowered.
When he’s not at the center, Michael enjoys reading, playing games, and solving puzzles—activities that reflect his love for logic and critical thinking.

Hi! My name is Nimrah, and I am currently a freshman at UNLV studying biology. As someone who used to be a student at Mathnasium and improved in math because of it, I hope I can pay it forward by helping others succeed in math and build their confidence in math.
I am a student and aspiring civil engineer. I’ve always enjoyed tutoring and STEM, and I love inspiring others. I like to spend time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or camping, and I am a roller coaster enthusiast.
Vivian enjoys helping students strengthen their math skills and gain confidence in the classroom. She believes patience and encouragement are key to making challenging concepts easier to understand. Her goal is to make math feel more approachable, engaging, and rewarding for every student.
Brandon Meyers is a Center Director at Mathnasium and is an almost lifelong Las Vegas resident, having grown up in the Las Vegas Valley since middle school.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, Brandon spent 10 years in management roles, where he developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that he now brings into his work with students, families, and staff.
Brandon is very family-oriented and is a proud father of three daughters. He values building strong relationships with students and families and creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow in confidence and skill.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing video games.
Lauren moved from California to Nevada in 2023 and quickly found a home at Mathnasium. She holds degrees in mathematics, anthropology, and liberal arts, and credits her success in math to the amazing teachers she’s had throughout her life. She believes that a strong math foundation is key to academic success and lifelong confidence.
As Center Director, Lauren is passionate about supporting students on their math journey and is deeply committed to the Mathnasium Method. Outside the center, she enjoys interior decorating, participating in Twitch streams, and spending time with her cat, Beans.
Dan graduated from the University of Arizona in 1985 with a B.S. in Microbiology and from Hofstra University's Graduate School of Business in 1990 with an MBA in Accounting. He worked as a CPA with public accounting firm Price Waterhouse and has built successful companies in various fields including real estate and executive recruiting. Dan's passion for teaching and love for working with kids is rooted in family tradition. His mother was a highly regarded principal in Las Vegas for nearly 30 years. Dan has taught and tutored children of all ages and was a mentor for underprivileged children. Dan is committed to significantly increasing Las Vegas children's math skills, their understanding of math concepts and their overall school performance. "We provide lots of warm encouragement in a very positive learning environment so that children build their confidence and develop a winning attitude towards math. Our kids learn math in a way that makes sense to them. They get excited about math and this spirit carries over into everything they do."
Laurie graduated from UCLA in 1986 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Before joining Mathnasium, she built a successful career working with Fortune 500 high-tech companies, including IBM, SAP, EMC, TIBCO, and MicroStrategy.
Laurie’s passion for teaching and working with children is deeply rooted in her family values. Her father, a dedicated special education teacher, spent over 30 years shaping young minds in California. Following in his footsteps, Laurie is committed to empowering children in the Las Vegas community by improving their math skills, fostering a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, and building their confidence to succeed academically.
In addition to her work at Mathnasium, Laurie volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), where she advocates for the best interests of children in foster care. This role reflects her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and supporting their growth and well-being.
