Priscillia Lo is the energetic and passionate Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Richmond, NY. With a degree in Hospitality Management and more than 10 years of teaching and training experience at VNS Health, she blends professional excellence with her love for children and education.
Priscillia brings warmth and enthusiasm to the center, creating a welcoming environment where students feel empowered to learn. Her mission is to help every child understand and enjoy math by turning challenges into exciting opportunities for growth through the Mathnasium Method™.
Joanne DeMizio
Assistant Center Director
Dr. Joanne DeMizio began her career in engineering before transitioning into education, where she has held roles such as Associate Superintendent, Math Consultant, Math Coach, and private tutor. Her passion for helping students discover the beauty of mathematics is at the heart of her work.
Joanne believes that all children deserve to experience the joy of understanding math. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for teaching to Mathnasium, where she supports both students and instructors. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her beloved grand puppy, Harry.
Raheel Ahshan
Instructor
Raheel is currently studying Mathematics at the College of Staten Island. Known for his quick thinking and efficient problem-solving, he loves discovering new ways to simplify complex math concepts.
Raheel’s long-term goal is to become a teacher or professor. At Mathnasium, he enjoys helping students boost their confidence in math. Outside the center, Raheel spends his time going to the gym, watching movies and shows, socializing with friends, and enjoying good food.
Nicholas Nigro
Instructor
Nicholas is a freshman at Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island, where he is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has a strong passion for math and enjoys helping others grasp difficult concepts.
At Mathnasium, Nicholas is dedicated to supporting students as they strengthen their math skills. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music and continuing to build his knowledge across STEM subjects.
Kaylee Yeung
Instructor
Kaylee is a freshman at Stony Brook University majoring in Biochemistry. She has a love for learning and enjoys helping students grow more confident in math.
In her free time, Kaylee plays mahjong with her grandparents, cooks new recipes, and reads thrillers and Greek mythology. She also enjoys playing guitar and skateboarding. Her enthusiasm and friendly approach make her a positive presence in the center.

Kaden is currently a student at New Dorp High School and is a part of the Math and Science Institute. He plans to pursue a degree in Applied Mathematics & Finance. He spent around 10 years doing competitive swimming and playing piano which have helped him develop strong discipline and perseverance. In his free time, he likes to exercise, play sports and hang out with friends.
Ryan Mathew

Ryan Mathew is currently a senior in New Dorp High school. He is a member of the volleyball team and loves to hang out with his friends after school. He plans to pursue mechanical engineering in the near future and hopes to be able to help as many people as possible. He loves helping people understand material that they never understood before and seeing their excitement when they finally figure it out.
