Jefferson earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Miami and has extensive experience tutoring, beginning with helping his younger siblings succeed in math. He also works as a software developer with an interest in game development.
Jefferson brings a clear, adaptable teaching style to Mathnasium, helping students break down concepts into manageable steps. He enjoys supporting students as they build strong math foundations and confidence, always tailoring explanations to match each learner’s needs and learning style.
Elizabeth Trimino is a passionate math instructor dedicated to helping students build confidence and strong foundational skills. Having developed a love for mathematics at a young age, she strives to instill that same enthusiasm in every student she works with. She helps students tackle math problems using tailored Mathnasium methods adapted to their individual learning styles. Looking ahead, she plans to major in biology on her pre-med track. She hopes to attend medical school and one day practice as a specialist physician. Her lifelong passion for helping people drives both her dedication to her math students and her medical aspirations.
Cedric holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiotherapy with a minor in Psychology from Shaw University. He currently teaches at the Kids Learning Center of South Dade, where he has supported student growth for over five years.
Cedric discovered his passion for education during an internship as an interventionist, where he saw the impact patient, personalized instruction can have on learners. He enjoys helping students build confidence and persistence in math and plans to continue his professional growth by pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership.
Hi, my name is Joseph Arias, and I graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in the top 10% of my class. I am currently a student at Florida International University’s Honors College, pursuing a degree in Mathematics with a focus on Physics. I have always enjoyed tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help others learn and grow. I have a strong passion for mathematics, and I love sharing that passion by explaining mathematical concepts and helping students better understand them.
Hi, my name is Bella! I enjoy spending time with my friends, meeting new people, and discovering new things. I decided to work at Mathnasium because I want to share my love of math with students. I love math because it can be found in so many aspects of our everyday lives, and there is always something new to discover. In college, I plan to study Finance and pursue a career in financial planning. I love being part of the Mathnasium team and hope to help students not only strengthen their math skills but also build their confidence!
