It’s Holiday Time at Mathnasium of Riverview!

Q: How does your Center/re show festive spirit?

A: At our center, we are all about making the center a fun, enjoyable place to be! We set up a tree, wear lights around our necks, santa or elf hats, incorporate themed-days for dress-up in festive clothes throughout the month, have math themed activities, have holiday rewards in the cabinet and end the season with a party! This year we made reindeer cookies, made #FlatACE with Santa hats, candy cane patterns, and enjoyed spending time together. School events are also a fun time, as we participate in holiday craft nights and hot cocoa with Santa days.

Q: What’s your favorite holiday tradition?

A: Some of our kids volunteer at local food banks or Toys for Tots and visit their grandparents. Some like to just stay home for a quiet Christmas, but overall we all love yummy treats and special family time!

Q: What does your family like to eat during the holidays?

A: For the entire family, Ms Becky loves making a traditional family meal with her mom and sisters. Mr Baylor's family grills steaks for Christmas and makes yummy sides. Ms Judi looks forward to spending time with her grandbabies. The rest of the team loves Christmas lights and the time to reflect on the year past and year ahead.

From all of us here at Riverview, we wish everyone a joyful holiday season!
