Jamie has called Colorado Springs home since 2007. She is a Peregrine resident with a background in special and general education. Jamie has worked at a local elementary school. She has a son at Eagleview Middle School. She became the owner of Mathnasium in August 2024. Jamie has a passion for working with students and helping them reach their full potential. When Jamie is not at Mathnasium, she enjoys singing, gardening and spending time outdoors with her teenage son and husky named Grace.
Ian is originally from the small town of Minerva, Ohio, but relocated to Colorado Springs after graduating college in 2024. At college, Ian double-majored in the fields of mathematics and art history. While there, he was a peer tutor for the university's math department. After discovering a joy and passion for teaching through this experience, Ian decided to join the Rockrimmon Mathnasium team here in Colorado Springs. Ian most enjoys the process of watching student's mathematical confidence grow during tutoring sessions. In his free time, Ian enjoys hiking, traveling, and participating in all things culture from the art museum to the movie theater.
Crystal is a longtime homeschooling mom of three whose children are well aware of her love for math. They often benefit from her bringing the Mathnasium Method home. In high school and college, she tutored young people, peers and adults toward their long- and short-term math goals. She is a Colorado native who loves biographies, pop science, and an occasional classic novel, as well as hiking and playing board games with the family.
Bob Rood is a retired Electrical Engineer. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2014. He previously lived in Melbourne Florida, Atlanta, and Tucson. He enjoys the great outdoors in Colorado, hiking and kayaking. Bob is excited to join the Mathnasium team and share his love of math with the next generation.
