Mathnasium Summer 2023 Robotics & Coding Camp

For students in grades 2-6 we will again offer an IN-PERSON, 5-day program during the weeks of July 17, July 31 and Aug 7.

Each program lasts one week, from Monday to Friday, and is designed to give your student experience with the exciting world of robotics and coding!

In just 3 hours a day, learn the basics of robotics and coding using the Sony KOOV robotics kit!

• Build fun, animal-themed robots using basic building blocks to get familiar with the different pieces.

• Using beginner friendly block-based drag and drop coding make your robots move and interact with the world.

• Use all the skills acquired throughout the week, as well as your creativity, to design and code your own original robot, and present your creation to the rest of the class!

• Finish the session each day with some fun activities!

With a hybrid self-guided and instructor taught curriculum, students will be able to move at a pace comfortable for them while still being able to get help along the way.

We have three different sessions at our three locations, so find the date and place that works best for you!

This year's program will be designed to accommodate both new students, as well as those who have taken this in previous years!

Roslyn - July 17-21, 2023 10am-1pm

Port Washington - July 31-August 4, 2023 11am-2pm

Great Neck - August 7-11, 2023 10am-1pm
