Fall Fun, Community Connections, and Building Math Confidence at Mathnasium of Round Lake Beach!

It is hard to believe that it has already been a year since our Grand Opening last October! As we celebrate our one-year anniversary here at Mathnasium of Round Lake Beach, we are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and continued support we’ve received.

Our mission has always been to make math make sense while building up our students' confidence, but we also want to be a vibrant, supportive part of the local community. As we head into the bustling fall season, we want to share some exciting updates, reflect on a few fun memories, and let you know what we have planned for the coming months!

Connecting with Our Local Schools

We believe that strong communities build strong students, which is why we are working closely with local Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs) to support our schools.

Right now, we are in close contact with the PTOs at both Big Hollow and Meadowview here in Round Lake. We are thrilled to announce that we will be attending Big Hollow’s upcoming Trunk or Treat next month—be sure to stop by our trunk and say hello! We are also actively chatting with Meadowview about some exciting ways to partner up for their October events.

Our community outreach doesn’t stop in Round Lake, either. Last week, we had the pleasure of attending a PTO meeting at Randall School in Twin Lakes, where we proudly donated Mathnasium gift certificates to be used as upcoming raffle prizes. We love finding new ways to support the schools and teachers that do so much for our kids.

Events, Rewards, and Giving Back

We love celebrating our students' hard work! If your child has been enrolled with us, they already know about our "Fun Calendar Days," which have been a huge hit at the center. We also love throwing bigger celebrations. Over the past year, we’ve hosted a fantastic Pi Day Party in May, brought in a Kona Ice truck this past August to cool down before the school year started, and hosted a special student Movie Night as a reward for passing their Mastery Checks.

Beyond celebrating our students, we are deeply committed to giving back. We are currently looking forward to an upcoming volunteer opportunity with Feed My Starving Children. Additionally, as we look toward the holiday season, we plan to continue the traditions we started last year: hosting a community Food Drive in November and a Toy Drive in December. What We Are Hearing from You

The best part of our day is seeing a student's face light up when a difficult math concept finally "clicks." Lately, the feedback we’ve been hearing from our families has been incredibly rewarding.

Parents are consistently telling us that their children are gaining genuine, lasting confidence in math. Families are also loving the flexibility of our scheduling, specifically highlighting how helpful our Sunday availability has been for accommodating busy weekend sports and family routines. Knowing that we are making your lives a little easier while helping your students thrive means the world to us.
