CHANGING LIVES THROUGH MATH!

This past year, we had three Mathletes from our East Round Rock center inducted into their High School, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. All three began their Mathnasium journey in elementary school, and have been continuously enrolled in the program for 7 years now. Each is in their school's highest math course for their grade level (Pre-Calculus and Calculus) and earning As in those courses.

We were also thrilled to learn this year that Samantha scored a 790 out of 800 on her Math SAT score. Samantha is planning to be a pre-med major when she begins to apply to colleges next year. She believes that her overall SAT score will make her a highly competitive candidate for her target schools.

How have these students achieved this success? We believe that a steady commitment and prioritization of math over a long period of time allows a deep understanding of mathematics that advances our students at their own pace. Many will move past grade level after a year in our program and continue to develop their skills as they are capable, making their classroom work at school come with more ease and confidence.

We are excited to see our Mathletes become instructors at our centers too, and Samantha has been filling this role for the past year and plans to continue into her senior year as well. Samantha doesn't want you to think she is all work and no play. She's active on her high school swim and water polo team as well!
