Logan is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Royal Oak. He earned his BS in Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and began his career teaching in the Oakland School District at an alternative high school. After college, he worked as a Mathnasium Instructor and found the Mathnasium Method highly effective for students of all ages.
He later spent a year teaching math in Shanghai, China, before returning home to open his own center. Logan is passionate about using the Mathnasium Method™ to help children in his community build skills, confidence, and a love for math.
Q&A: What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?
"I *love* playing extremely long board games with my friends (6+ hours)"
Dan was an elementary level teacher for several years before changing his career focus to health care. He has always enjoyed working with students, so working at Mathnasium has been a great opportunity for him to continue helping students grow in their math skills. In his spare time, he likes to play both bass guitar and trumpet, as he is a part of two bands.

"I once ran a marathon."

"I do not like the taste of coffee, and I only tolerate it in the form of coffee and chocolate cookies."

"I've been volunteering on Paleontological digs since 2015, and helped scientists dig up a brand new dinosaur once!"

"I'm actually surprisingly funny."
