Ali has 6+ years of math tutoring experience and over 10 years of teaching experience, spanning everything from multivariable calculus to whitewater kayaking. She graduated in 2022 with a B.S in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, is a proud graduate of Mission Viejo High School, and is currently studying process control software. Ali loves math because it feels like a fun puzzle, and because it is the foundation for all sciences. Her favorite part about teaching is getting to observe "lightbulb moments", when a concept finally clicks in a student's brain. She believes every student deserves access to quality education that sets them up for whatever they may want to do in the future. When she isn't teaching, you can usually find Ali running, reading, playing the piano, rock climbing, cooking/baking, knitting, or playing with her cat.
