Carl has proudly led Mathnasium centers across Tarrant County for over a decade, helping thousands of students gain confidence, skill, and a genuine appreciation for math. His dedication to education and community impact has made him a trusted figure for local families seeking academic growth and support.
Carl’s favorite part of his work is seeing students burst through the doors waving improved test scores, proud of what they’ve accomplished. For him, every success story is a reminder of why he loves helping kids overcome frustration, build confidence, and discover that math can be both empowering and fun.
Diva brings a strong background in both education and business to her role as Assistant Center Director. A graduate of Bethel High School, she began her college studies at Tuskegee University before earning an Associate’s in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Phoenix.
Her passion for learning and leadership shines through in her work with students. Known for her positive energy and encouragement, Diva strives to create an environment where every child feels capable of success. Her favorite number is 21, a reminder of balance and growth.
Jackie is currently attending Tarrant County College and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in healthcare. He has a natural gift for explaining complex ideas and enjoys helping students develop confidence as they master new math skills. His calm, patient approach creates a space where students can learn without fear of making mistakes.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jackie is an avid chess player who sees the game as a perfect blend of logic, patience, and creativity—just like math. His favorite number is 8 because, as he says, “it looks funny!”
Maria graduated from the International Leadership of Texas Keller-Saginaw High School and is now studying psychology at Tarrant County College. Her empathy and communication skills make her a natural teacher, and she loves helping students overcome challenges and realize they’re capable of more than they imagined.
In her free time, Maria enjoys reading, drawing, and catching up on much-needed rest between her studies and work. Her favorite numbers are multiples of 3, especially 9, which she considers a symbol of creativity and completeness.
Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of North Texas and is currently pursuing a Nursing degree at the University of Arlington. Alongside her work at Mathnasium, she also assists patients at an urgent care clinic, where her compassion and problem-solving skills shine.
At Mathnasium, Kelly enjoys connecting with students and showing them that math isn’t just useful—it can actually be fun. She loves helping them see how numbers appear everywhere in life. Her favorite number is 13, a playful nod to her love of horror movies and spooky stories.
