Colby Miller is the Owner of Mathnasium of Salinas and grew up in Walnut Creek, California, where he founded a middle school math club and later worked as an assistant kindergarten teacher. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with dual majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
After a successful career in digital media leadership, Colby chose education to make a more personal impact. He believes math builds confidence and opportunity and is committed to creating a welcoming, high-quality learning experience for every family.
Bryan Vo is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Salinas and earned a degree in Economics from the University of Southern California. During college, he consistently volunteered as an educator, which led him naturally to a career in math instruction. Bryan has worked with Mathnasium for more than five years and has supported hundreds of students across multiple centers.
Having faced challenges in math himself, Bryan brings patience and empathy to teaching. He believes persistence builds strong problem-solving skills and enjoys helping students gain confidence through understanding.
Maria Santiago is the Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Salinas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science from California State University, Monterey Bay.
From an early age, Maria developed a strong passion for mathematics and a dedication to helping others succeed. In high school, she regularly supported her classmates by helping with math homework and leading study sessions before exams. During her time at university, she served as a teaching assistant for a programming professor, guiding peers through coding assignments and helping them build confidence in their problem-solving skills.
Having always excelled in mathematics, Maria chose to use her skills to support students who may struggle with understanding mathematical concepts. As a mother to her young daughter, Malena, she brings an added sense of empathy, patience, and compassion to her work, creating a supportive and encouraging environment for every student she mentors.
Sean Estrella is the Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Salinas and holds a degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. His love for math began in elementary school, when he eagerly helped his siblings with their homework. During college, Sean joined the Math Club and continued tutoring whenever he had the opportunity. He enjoys helping students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and discover that math can be both approachable and rewarding.
