Jennifer Young

Jennifer earned her bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Small Business Management from San Francisco State University. Having spent 20 years working in high-tech as a Software Engineer, she most recently worked at IBM delivering innovative SaaS products using ETL technologies for major retail chains. Jennifer, a mother of three, is very involved with her kids' lives. She volunteers in school events, extracurricular activities and is currently an active participant at her son's school. Being a big promoter of success in education, she decided to enroll her kids into the Mathnasium program. Having a love for children and seeing how the Mathnasium program boosted her kids math skills gave her the desire to become a Mathnasium owner. Her goal is to help kids build a strong foundation in math while providing the confidence to tackle any problems coming their way. At Mathnasium we teach math that makes sense, while having fun! She believes kids believing in themselves and enjoying what they do, will be successful.

AJ Baylock

A.J. joined Mathnasium of San Bruno in May of 2023. He attended Burlingame High School and graduated from Pepperdine University with a BS in Business Administration and a Minor in Spanish. He previously worked for Mathnasium of Burlingame from 2016 to 2019. A.J. is also a licensed member of a commercial real estate brokerage based in Burlingame.

Byung Soo Kim

Byung is a Philosophy major at San Francisco State University. He has been tutoring math for a very long time in many different environments including St. Michael's Math Club, Lowell High Math Club, Skyline College Learning Center, and as a private home tutor. While growing up, math was not his strong suit and needed lots of tutoring himself. So he understands very well the hardships that kids face in learning math. Outside Mathnasium he enjoys building plastic models, tabletop gaming, and singing for the Skyline College Choir

Faye

Hi, my name is Faye, and I am currently a junior at Mills High School. In school my favorite subjects are math, chemistry, and history, and I love to help others with their learning. In my free time I bake, binge sitcoms, hang out with my friends, and play with my cats. I also love going for walks, and reading.

Jennifer

Jennifer is a sophomore in college. She enjoys teaching math and working with kids.

Manal

Manal is a junior at Mills High School. She enjoys playing soccer and is part of her school's team.

Audrey is currently an undergrad at UC Davis studying Life Sciences.

Conrad

Conrad is currently a junior at Carlmont High School. He enjoys math and STEM subjects, specifically Machine Learning and its intersection with healthcare. He likes helping others, whether it be in volunteer activities or teaching math to other students. In his spare time, he enjoys playing jazz piano and cello at school/outside ensembles, riding bikes with his friends, or playing tennis with his school team.

Joshua is currently a junior at Carlmont High School. He enjoys teaching math and working with kids.
