Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Mr. Sulu

Center Director

Sulu holds a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Biology and Chemistry from UC San Diego. A U.S. Navy veteran and former Hospital Corpsman, he joined Mathnasium in 2016 after supporting his own child’s math learning journey.

Since then, Sulu has led multiple centers and now focuses on Sandy Springs, where he enjoys seeing long-term student growth. In his free time, he trains for triathlons and high-performance driving events. He’s a proud dad of three and loves watching students grow in skill and confidence.

Mr. Celso

Assistant Center Director

Celso brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to helping students understand complex concepts. He enjoys music, exercise, and exploring how the world works. His favorite math concept? Base 10, for how intuitively it helps explain orders of magnitude.

Mr. Daniel

Instructor

Daniel is an environmental science major at Kennesaw State University and a proud Eagle Scout. He is passionate about teaching and loves connecting math to music, nature, and everyday life.

Daniel’s favorite part of working at Mathnasium is watching students grow in skill and confidence over time. When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him outdoors or playing music.

Ms. Munmun

Instructor

She brings her love for structure, patterns, and problem-solving into her math instruction. At Mathnasium, she’s excited to help students fall in love with math. Her favorite number is one, because she values uniqueness.

Mr. Hossein

Instructor

Hossein received his B.S. in Mathematics from Tehran University, and earned a Ph.D. in Math from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He started teaching math when he was a college student, but became more seriously interested in math education, and started thinking about it when he was a graduate student in Chicago. After receiving his Ph.D. in pure math, he continued his career in math education by teaching various institutions, including the University of Toledo, Ohio, and Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.
