After nearly 20 years in retail operations and sales management, I found myself seeking a career path with greater purpose and impact. That turning point came when my second-grader brought home a progress report with areas marked for improvement — and Mathnasium entered our lives.
As a parent, I had the privilege of watching my daughter's confidence grow, her comprehension deepen, and the nightly homework struggles gradually fade away. That transformation left a lasting impression on me. After all, no parent wants to see their child struggle.
Now, as a business owner and Center Director, I have the opportunity to bring together everything that has energized and shaped my professional journey — and channel it into something truly meaningful. I am honored to lead Mathnasium of San Fernando, and committed to creating a warm, personalized environment where every student feels supported, valued, and genuinely excited to learn.
Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be a part of the Mathnasium team! Having had math struggles of my own growing up, I would’ve loved to have had the opportunity to attend a place such as Mathnasium. I look forward to making a difference in how our students approach math as well as building a crucial foundation for their future academic success. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, seeing the world and dedicating time to family and friends.
Hi!! I graduated high school last year and I am currently studying psychology at community college. Math has always been a part of my life and is something that I have both excelled in and also had some trouble. For me, part of the fun comes from figuring out ways to improve and that is all I am about when working with my students! Outside of math, I love taking a break from things and enjoying the beach or going on a nice hike with a perfect view. I really value finding enjoyment in life with friends and family! If ever in need in some positivity, I’m always there for you!
I graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Most recently, I completed a software engineering internship with LA-Tech.org, where I had the opportunity to work on a project involving Waymo. I enjoy problem solving and bringing that mindset into my work with students.
What I enjoy most about Mathnasium is its personalized approach to learning. I especially appreciate the assessment process, which helps identify where each student is and where they may have gaps in their understanding. I find it rewarding to see students make progress, especially when something finally clicks for them and their attitude toward math becomes more positive and motivated. Helping students build confidence and enjoy doing math is one of the most fulfilling parts of my role.
Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy playing soccer, going to the gym, listening to music, watching sports, playing chess, and taking my dog for walks.
I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have always enjoyed working with math and problem solving. I am passionate about helping students understand challenging concepts in a way that feels approachable and encouraging. At Mathnasium, I hope to help students build confidence in their math skills while making the learning process enjoyable.
Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy hiking, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
I am currently a student at CSUN majoring in Accounting and minoring in Entertainment Media Management. Throughout grade school I have always loved math. During my junior year of high school, I turned my love into an opportunity. I tutored my peers in algebra and I took volunteer opportunities supporting elementary students. Now, I'm developing a career focused in mathematics.
At Mathnasium, I hope to continue my passion for math with students - making education fun while continuing to develop mathematical skills used everyday.
