RJ began his career as a software engineer before transitioning into education, where he made learning technical subjects engaging and accessible for his community. He has designed, taught, and managed dozens of successful STEM programs, inspiring thousands of students across the Bay Area and beyond.
Believing deeply in education as a tool for empowerment, RJ brings that same passion to Mathnasium, helping students unlock their full potential. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing cooperative games, shooting hoops, and exploring new experiences.
Before joining Mathnasium of San Ramon, Doris built a successful career in the garment industry as a manager and later worked at a non-profit organization supporting families through life’s challenges. Known affectionately by students as “Auntie GaGa,” she has found her true calling in education, helping children discover their confidence and love for math.
Doris believes the greatest gift we can give students is opportunity—a chance to grow, to overcome, and to succeed. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and mystery stories, watching Mr. Holland’s Opus and Kung Fu Panda, and practicing origami.
Lois is the District Manager at Mathnasium of San Ramon, combining her background in school counseling with years of management experience. Her passion lies in understanding people’s needs and helping students from all backgrounds reach their goals through compassionate guidance and personalized support.
Outside of work, Lois enjoys reading, scrapbook journaling, and trying new foods. She joined Mathnasium to continue her commitment to education and welcomes every family with warmth and enthusiasm, eager to help students thrive in math and beyond.
