Miguel is currently pursuing a Master's Program in Cyber Security Engineering at University of San Diego. He is also a Computer Science Graduate from California State University, Monterey Bay with a concentration in Game Development. Miguel started his Mathnasium career in Mathnasium of Monterey while he was in college. Miguel also has experience not only in teaching Mathematics, but also teaching programming, robotics, and video production. Outside of teaching, Miguel loves to bowl and play Basketball.
Karina is a Biochemistry graduate with an emphasis in Chemistry from UCSD. While enjoying working in tech for a few notable companies she has decided to return to her love for teaching subjects that she’s always found fun. When she’s not at Mathnasium, hobbies include taking pictures of food, exploring the outdoors, and international travel.
Michael is a Freshman at San Jose State University studying Biological Sciences with a concentration on Physiological Systems. It's always been Michael's goal to become a pediatrician and joined the Mathnasium team to gain experience working with younger people. Michael enjoys giving a helping hand and loves to do math. Other than that, Michael enjoys playing video games, reading manga, and hanging out with friends.
Livia is a junior at Branham High School. Her love for teaching kids and passion for math makes tutoring at Mathasium the perfect fit. She loves making math fun by turning problems into engaging games. Outside of work, Livia can be found playing volleyball, thrifting, or hanging out with friends.
Kashish Graduated from Santa Teresa High School. She is currently a Second-Year College student at San Jose State University, majoring in Biochemistry. Her favorite subjects are Chemistry and Math. Aside from school, Kashish loves to sew, listen to music, build Legos, and play video games. Kashish enjoys teaching kids how to have fun while doing math at the same time.
Richard is a Computer Science Masters Graduate from the University of California, Riverside. He loves helping students build confidence and understanding in math by making it fun. Outside of work, Richard can be found at the gym or taking a nap.
Gargi is a senior at Santa Teresa High School with a specific interest in math and computer science. She loves teaching kids and math, and she joined the Mathnasium team because she wanted to gain more experience with working with kids, and it seemed like a perfect fit! Outside of teaching kids, Gargi loves reading, watching TV shows, and shopping!
Kris, as a kid, always loved Math & numbers and excelled in it. Now, wants to give it back to his community kids the fun way of learning Math. After his Engineering education in Electronics, Kris worked in several fortune 100 companies and established him as successful person in coaching and enabling other young talents. Kris strongly believes in inspiring young minds and educating the youngsters paves the way for a brighter future
Nishiru is a senior at Santa Teresa High school. She plans to pursue a career in Computer Science, but enjoys musical theater on the side. She loves working with kids, and fostering a fun, caring environment for students to learn in. Outside of Mathnasium, Nishiru loves to bake, go on walks, and try new food spots with friends
