I have recently transferred to SDSU and am currently pursuing a degree in Paleontology. Science and Math is how we appreciate the beauty of the natural world around us. I fell in love with them at a young age. Sharing that by making the STEM fields exciting and approachable for everyone but especially for children, is something I hope to achieve. Hobbies: Reading, Cooking, Rocks, and General Nerdiness Favorite Math Joke: Are monsters good at math? Not unless you count dracula.

Hobbies: Drawing, Playing video games, Painting Enjoys: Organizing things, driving, puzzles Favorite Math Joke: I met someone who loved math but hated fractions. Tommy Nguyen

Instructor

I am a 4th year SDSU student currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education. With this, I plan on working towards becoming a secondary Math teacher in California. I always had a passion for math as it is my specific field of study. The best advice I can give for anyone: math can be challenging, but no one is born with a “math brain”, everyone just needs a different way of thinking about it that works for them. In fact, I considered myself “bad at math” for most of my younger life. We should never stop improving!

Hobbies : Video games, Knitting, Hiking

Enjoys: Coffee, Sunsets, Napping, and Cats

Favorite Math Joke: Why don't irreducible polynomials ever settle down? They're just not factorable.

Abraham Lucenti

I am a UCSD Electrical Engineering student with a strong passion for math, teaching, and helping students build confidence in problem-solving. I love learning and practicing math both in and out of the classroom, and I plan to pursue a career that blends engineering with education.

Hobbies: Video Games, Gardening, Hiking

Enjoys: Math, Coding Projects, Physics

Favorite Math Joke: Why do plants hate math? Because it gives them square roots
