Justin Cunningham

I am a high school junior at Helix Charter High School. I am currently taking AP Calculus BC. I love math and really enjoy learning how it’s used in the real world. I thought working here would be a great job since I’m doing something I love to do. Hobbies: Watching movies, playing video games, hanging out with friends Math Joke: Math puns are the first sine of madness.

Vipula Roy

I am a software project manager who attributes her success to her access to quality education, particularly math. Owning and running Mathnasium of Santee is my way of doing my bit to extend the same privilege and opportunities that I recieved as a child, to the next generation, for excelling in math

Jake Sanderlin

I am currently a finance major at San Diego State University. I have worked summer programs for middle and elementary school kids, and I have always enjoyed teaching new skills to kids. Math has always been my favorite subject, so working at Mathnasium is perfect! I hope to help students grow in both their knowledge and their love for math. I am an undergraduate student at San Diego State University and pursuing my B.S. in Chemistry. I’ve been volunteering with all age-ranges of kids for over 5 years, and love being able to help students grasp topics better. Math can be a tricky subject but is so rewarding and even fun when you understand it! Hobbies: Reading, running, drinking tea! Leonardo Mark

I am a UCSD Visual Arts graduate aspiring to create a career in the fields of illustration, animation, and to be an artist for a video game studio. I have been a tutor of middle/high school students since September of 2023, and have found that I enjoy teaching. I have always had an aptitude for mathematics, and I want to better teach students in a way that will get them to like the concepts and the act of learning. As a result, he always felt really divided.

Victor Gao

I am a recent graduate from the University of Arizona with a Major in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics. Growing up, I spent a lot of time caring for my little sister which has made me keenly familiar with supervising children. Through my experiences in life, I've come to believe that the logical thinking that comes with a rigorous education in mathematics is something that would benefit everybody and should be nurtured as early and often as possible.
