Kimberly is the Center Director and Owner of Mathnasium, where her goal each day is to ensure students have an engaging and encouraging learning experience that helps them truly understand math. She’s passionate about creating a space where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
She carefully selects instructors who are not only skilled in math but also dedicated to helping students succeed. Kimberly believes that with the right tools, mindset, and environment, every child can build lasting confidence and a bright academic future.
Priyanka is a senior at Conant High School and loves both learning and teaching math. She finds it deeply rewarding to guide her students through challenging concepts and help them realize how capable they are and can grow to be.
Her long-term goal is to become a teacher, inspired by the joy of seeing her students make progress and gain confidence in math. Priyanka also has a strong interest in computers and hopes to study computer science in the future.
I'm a senior at Schaumburg High School and I am a part of the swim team, math team, and engineering club. I love teaching math, because I get to share my passion while talking with all the students! In the future, I hope to have a math-related major, so that I get to continue my passion for math.
I am a Colombian math enthusiast. My love for the field was instilled by my father, a Civil Engineer with a PhD in Seismic Activity. I've attended multiple college level classes, and have done particularly well in them. I also played basketball in high school, and religiously follow the NBA. I'm very interested in financing classes and am currently considering going to school again to get a degree.
Hi! My name is Leah and I'm a senior in high school. One fun fact about me is that math is my favorite subject in school. I love teaching math because it was always my favorite subject to learn about and I love the idea of being able to teach kids something that they'll be able to use for the rest of their lives.
I just finished my first year at UIUC studying math and actuarial science. I've been teaching at Mathnasium for a few years and am currently the main online instructor. Some of my hobbies are piano and rock climbing, and I've also been doing martial arts for 14 years.
Maya is a freshman at The Ohio State University, studying Biochemistry on the pre-med track. She has been part of Mathnasium since her sophomore year of high school and brings both experience and empathy to her role as an instructor.
Having once struggled with math herself, Maya understands the importance of patience and encouragement in helping students succeed. She especially enjoys teaching Algebra I and II, where she helps students move from confusion to confidence while discovering how fun math can be.
Alexa is a freshman studying biochemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In school, she is part of Pre-Vet Club, LAS Leaders, Illini Service Dogs, and is a copyediting intern with The Daily Illini. She loves teaching kids math because she enjoys watching them transform into confident mathematicians.
Mehr is a senior at Conant High School and an enthusiastic member of the Mathnasium team. She’s involved in CompSci Kids, math team, debate team, student council, RISE, and cultural awareness programs, which reflect her curiosity and leadership.
A fun fact about Mehr is that she skipped first grade and plans to pursue a career in business. She enjoys showing students that math is not just about numbers but about logic, creativity, and persistence—skills that serve them in every area of life.
I studied primary education at Liberty High School and received a master's from Sardar Patel University. I love all math but in particular trigonometry and algebra. I've achieved many of my math goals and want to help others achieve theirs as well.
My name is Aarya but I go by Ari. I am a junior at Conant High School. I enjoy all forms of math but specifically Geometry and Algebra. I love teaching math because as a former Mathnasium student I know that Mathnasium's methods really well and want to help students do their math the Mathnasium way. A fun fact about me is that I have been at Mathnasium since 2019, when it opened.
I go to Schaumburg High School and participate in many clubs. I'm in the student council and in the polish club. Math is my favorite subject, and I think that is because I understand it. I love teaching math because that allows me to try and get others to love math as much as I do. One of my math goals is to remember the math I learn past the test, especially the really hard topics.
A fun fact about me is I was born in Malaysia and then I lived in Australia. I'm a rising senior at Conant and I play golf, basketball, and lacrosse. I also dance and participate in BPA, peer mediation, Cougar Climb. I am also a PRIDE mentor. A math topic I want to learn more about is statistics because it's very relevant to the world around me.

I am a programmer. I love both programming and math since they are very logical. There are many ways to find solutions to a question or problem. That fact, I believe, gives us an open mind.
