Mike M.

Mike M.

Center Director
Mike graduated with a Psychology degree from the University of Iowa. He has been an instructor and an Assistant Center Director before he became Center Director of Scottsdale. Having worked at all the levels within a Mathnasium center, Mike understands how each student learns differently and finding their path for success can be different than others. People would be surprised to know that he is a Cleveland Browns fan---long before their recent improvement!

Iulia

Instructor
Iulia is currently a sophomore at Chaparral High School. One of her favorite trips was to Universal Studios. That is probably because they have a Jurassic Park ride and that is her favorite movie! When not working or at school, she likes to write short stories and poems.

Sonia

Instructor
Paradise Valley HS. Junior. Pre med goals. Fave book is sleeping beauty. Is in the model UN club at school. Sonia is a junior at Paradise Valley High School. After school, she hopes to go into pre-med to pursue a career in medicine. She is also in the Model UN club at school, and her favorite book is Sleeping Beauty!

Abigail

Instructor
Abigail is currently a freshman studying Spanish at Paradise Valley Community College. When not working or studying, she enjoys playing the guitar. At the top of her bucket list of things to do is to visit Japan when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Favorite movie? 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'!

Ella

Instructor
Ella is currently a freshman at Desert Mountain High School. She loves to play tennis, read, and listen to music in her free time. Her favorite genre is stuff from the 70's and 80's!

David

Instructor
David is a mechanical engineering major at ASU. He enjoys watching baseball, working out, and teaching math! He also wrestled for 6 years, and is currently an assistant wrestling coach for McClintock High School.

Maria

Instructor
Maria is a senior at Chaparral High School, and she plans to major in either medicine or biology in college. When not at Mathnasium or school, she loves to paint and play music! She can play both the clarinet and the tenor saxophone. She also hopes to visit Spain one day!

Erez

Instructor
Erez joins Mathnasium with a strong passion for tutoring! He really enjoys travelling to different places. He is Jewish and has been to Israel a few times. One of the things he believes is that nothing can be achieved without hard work.

Maya

Instructor
Maya is in her senior year at XCP. In her free time, she likes to read and go on runs with her mom. Her favorite movie is Tangled!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
