Jason Tong is an experienced educator who has taught Math, Science, English, History, and Computer Science to students of all levels, from elementary to university. Previously, he served as the lead math and science teacher at Mission Dolores Academy in San Francisco. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Santa Cruz and has worked as a protein purification chemist.
Jason is dedicated to helping future leaders succeed. He looks forward to connecting with Mathnasium families and guiding students toward their academic goals.
Rishitha is a student at Evergreen Valley High School who loves working with kids and helping them master challenging topics. She volunteers as a tutor through various programs and also teaches Speech & Debate.
Passionate about education, she enjoys making learning more accessible and engaging for students. In her free time, Rishitha loves reading, watching basketball, and spending time with friends. She is excited to support students on their math journey and help them build confidence at Mathnasium!
Duc is a Mathematics major in the Integrated Teacher Education Program at SJSU. With years of experience as a personal tutor and Mathnasium instructor, he loves sharing his passion for math and helping students see its real-world applications. He believes that making math relatable enhances students' enthusiasm and enjoyment.
Outside of teaching, Duc enjoys tennis, video games, running, and spending time with cats. His favorite number is 2—its symmetry is especially satisfying! He looks forward to helping students build confidence and develop a deeper appreciation for math.
Bryan is a Computer Engineering student at San Jose State University with a passion for both math and teaching. Inspired by the mentors who helped him grow, he is dedicated to giving back by helping students excel in math. In addition to Mathnasium, he has tutored at Math Master Academy, Read Write Discover, and the Berryessa Branch Library.
Outside of tutoring, he enjoys volunteering at Mini Cat Town, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and watching anime. Bryan is excited to support students in building confidence and mastering math concepts.
Ryan is a senior at Evergreen Valley High School with a deep passion for math and its real-world applications. He sees himself as a lifelong student of mathematics and enjoys exploring new concepts. Having experienced the ups and downs of learning math, he strives to use his knowledge to help others succeed.
Ryan enjoys playing music, volunteering in his community, and finding ways to grow and improve. He is excited to support students on their math journey and help them build confidence in their skills.
Olivia is a junior at Evergreen Valley High School currently taking AP Calculus AB. A longtime math enthusiast, she hopes to inspire students at Mathnasium to develop the same love for the subject. She has experience tutoring at the library and working with students at camps.
Outside of Mathnasium, Olivia enjoys playing the cello and drums, badminton, basketball, and cooking. She is excited to help students build confidence and succeed in math!
