Mathnasium has been a helpful support system for my two children and I. During our time at Mathnasium, we discovered a place where we can ask questions about classroom instructions, review homework and prepare for quizzes & tests. Not only do students work on their daily school assignments, but they are given extra lessons for practice to build a better understanding of the fundamentals and the current math lessons in school. Mathnasium is familiar and follows the Lake Central School District's curriculum. Mrs. Rashna and her team of tutors are helpful, knowledgeable, kind and patient with all students ranging from elementary, middle and high school levels, including myself, as a professional librarian educator, caring and present parent who believes in encouraging students to do their very best with their academic performance.There are in-person and remote online support appointments to choose from. How convenient is this, there's no excuse not to find and reach out for extra help. Students attending Mathnasium not only receive extra help with their homework, they are given the opportunity to accumulate visiting points and earn a reward from the program validating their hard work, especially when they receive 100% scores or raise their classroom grade. This is just an extra boost to build that confidence, loose the fear and nerves, to try to master and excel in math. My daughter just completed 4 grade and her first two months of Mathnasium. For a kid who basically begs to stay home from school on a daily basis to a kid who begs to go to Mathnasium - to say this program is beneficial is an understatement. We have a lot of ground to cover to get her to grade level, but I’m confident that Mathnasium will help my kid bridge that gap and become confident in her skills. We had an amazing experience at Mathnasium in Ken Caryl and I can’t recommend it enough! Both of my children attended for about seven months—my daughter, Sierra (2nd grade), and my son, Austin (4th grade)—and the progress they made exceeded every expectation we had. Austin has always loved math, but Mathnasium helped him reach a whole new level. By the end of the school year, he scored in the 99th percentile on the Colorado CMAS math assessment and was successfully working on 6th-grade math while still in 4th grade. We were absolutely thrilled with his growth. For Sierra, the biggest change wasn’t just in her math skills—it was in her confidence. She used to doubt herself, and now math is her favorite subject! Watching her become excited to solve problems and believe in herself has been incredible. What really makes Mathnasium special is the people. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand each of my children’s needs and created a plan to help them succeed. She was always available to answer questions, celebrate their progress, and make sure they were challenged in the right ways. Beyond that, Myrna is simply an amazing person. She genuinely cares about the families who walk through her doors. She always took time to listen, offer encouragement, and share thoughtful parenting advice whenever I needed it. Her kindness, dedication, and passion for helping children shine through in everything she does. The importance of connection and consistency! Jordan joined Mathnasium this summer to prepare for 6th grade, and it truly feels like coming full circle. My daughter enjoyed attending Mathnasium and mastered the majority of the algebra skills over the last seven weeks! Sadly we are finishing up the last week here before going back to LA where our permanent home is. I would definitely recommend the Mission Gorge Mathnasium because their program is very organized, the facility is neat and clean, for maintaining a manageable students-to-staff ratio, for their friendly and helpful staff, and for being very responsive to our requests and needs. It started with my daughters teacher lettig us know she had googled "how can I stop being stupid at math." Heartbreaking to hear that your kid is struggling and knows they are struggling. I looked into private tutoring and it was so expensive for one session a week. Once I found this place it was perfect. They are so patient with my daughter and have helped her gain her confidence again about math. She is starting to bring home A+ tests and gets so excited to bring them into Mathnasium to show them her hard work! They celebrate those victories with a wall of stars! They give kids rewards that they can save up for big prizes, and that definitely motivates my daughter. The best part is how kind and caring the staff is. They take feedback well and make sure your child is heard about their learning needs. If your child needs extra help in math, this is the place to go. So many classrooms are overcrowded and the teachers just cant give everyone the help they need, but this place gives that support that kids need and help to explain it in a way that makes sense!.

My son is an honors student and he chose that path In high school! However Trigonometry's was challenging and he needed support for finals ! Finding Mathnasium was such a blessing although we came at the last minute ,The owner still found a space for my son. Her team of tutors were AMAZING and so relatable. We have had a wonderful adventure at Mathnasium in Clarksville IN. From the teachers, owner, and other students my child has had a positive experience. The teachers are always willing and able to help with any of the issue my child has with math assignments. They take the time to fully explain the problems and how to solve them. The owner has been very flexible with scheduling tutoring session. The other students have befriended my child and help to include them in conversation. Overall a fabulous result in my child's math skills and can not wait to see how much more they grow.

We have loved our experience at Mathnasium! Landry has not complained about going and works hard to finish his pages to spin the wheel! Mathnasium is an excellent option to supplement classroom instruction and keep kids on track over the summer! My 10 year old son enjoys it and has never once complained. We feel very lucky to have the option so close to home!

My son was struggling with math for the last 2 years of middle school. I was told over and over by his teacher that we did not need outside tutoring, as she knew him best. Fast-forward and he was about to fail 8th grade math and have to take summer school. We did Mathnasium for 2 months twice a week, and he got a 98 on the last test and 99 on the final exam and passed for the year! Oh, how I wish I had done this sooner. Don't waste your time with the other local tutoring center in town if you need math help, this is where you need to be! Super friendly and not a high pressure sales rip-off! We will be back in high school if my son needs it.
