Our specially trained tutors prepare high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT® using proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans. We focus on building lasting content knowledge and exam-ready problem-solving strategies, so students see real score improvement on test day and beyond.

We work with students in a caring and fun group environment, providing personalized, face-to-face instruction that focuses on genuine understanding. We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines assessment-based personalized learning plans with proven interactive techniques to build the mathematical understanding students need to perform well on any exam.
Rather than drilling test-taking tactics, our tutors help students truly grasp the concepts they'll be tested on. Paired with proprietary test prep materials, this approach develops the problem-solving skills and confidence that lead to meaningful, lasting improvement.
Students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us pinpoint their current skill level, knowledge gaps, and exam goals. Using these insights, we design a personalized learning plan that targets exactly what each student needs to work on.
Tutors follow each plan closely, reinforcing understanding and introducing new material gradually. As students build skills and fill knowledge gaps, their confidence grows alongside their readiness, so they arrive at their exam prepared to do their best.

Eseosa
Instructor
Hey! My name's Eseosa. I enjoy tutoring in math because it gives me a chance to not only help others overcome struggles that I may have had learning arithmetic, but tutoring gives me an avenue to showcase some of the real-life applications of math that I wanted to see when I was younger. One hobby of mine is playing the piano! A future aspiration I have is to become a psychiatrist.
Sarah
Lead Instructor
Hi, I'm Sarah! I used to struggle in math, especially when I was in 5th grade/early 6th grade. I had a math tutor at the time who was skilled at not only explaining the concepts, but making math fun through hands-on learning and games. Ever since then, I've found math both easy and enjoyable. When I'm tutoring students, I hope to give a similar experience to students who struggle like I once did. As for my hobbies, I love anything musical. I've played violin since I was in 6th grade and have also picked up guitar and piano. In the future, I hope to become fluent in Spanish so I can communicate with more people in our local community.
Sarafina
Instructor
Hi! I’m Sarafina. I love tutoring math because there's nothing quite like the feeling of helping someone succeed, even if it’s just understanding a new concept. Math has always been a subject I’m passionate about, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with others. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy listening to music, spending time with friends, and reading. One of my personal goals is to read 100 books this year! Looking ahead, I plan to attend college on a pre-med track with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.

At Mathnasium of Snellville, we believe the best exam preparation is building deep math understanding and mastery over time.
Students begin their enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current skills and knowledge gaps. From there, we create a personalized learning plan that builds math skills consistently, session by session, so students aren't starting from scratch before every test.
Our specially trained tutors work with students across any K-12 math class, from elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, reinforcing the concepts they're learning in school, filling in foundational gaps, and developing the problem-solving skills that serve them on quizzes, midterms, and final exams alike.
When a major exam is approaching, we can align instruction with the specific topics and concepts it will cover, so students walk in feeling prepared.
Yes! Mathnasium of Snellville prepares students for the math portions of the GMAS.
Our tutors align instruction with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) for Mathematics to ensure students have a solid grasp of the grade-level concepts they'll encounter on the exam. We identify each student's knowledge gaps through a diagnostic assessment and build a personalized learning plan that targets the skills they need to meet and exceed grade-level expectations.
The earlier, the better. Because the GMAS measures cumulative math understanding built over the school year, students benefit most from consistent, ongoing support rather than last-minute preparation.
Ideally, students should begin working with us at the start of the school year or semester. This gives us time to identify and address any knowledge gaps, build foundational skills, and ensure students are progressing steadily toward grade-level mastery well before test day.
That said, if your student is closer to the exam, we can still make a meaningful difference. Contact us and we'll create a focused plan based on the time available.
Yes! Mathnasium of Snellville prepares high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®.
Our specially trained tutors use proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans to build the content knowledge and problem-solving strategies students need to perform their best on test day. Whether your student is taking the exam for the first time or looking to improve their score, we tailor preparation to their current skill level and target goals.
We recommend starting at least three to six months before the exam date, and earlier is always better.
College admissions math tests cover a wide range of topics, from algebra and data analysis to geometry and, on the ACT®, trigonometry. Students who begin preparation early have time to identify and close knowledge gaps, build fluency with exam-style problems, and develop the confidence that comes from sustained practice.
For students with significant gaps in foundational math skills, starting even earlier — in middle school or early high school — gives them the strongest possible foundation heading into test prep.
If your student's test date is approaching sooner, contact us and we'll build a focused plan around the time they have.
Mathnasium of Snellville offers math test prep as part of a flat monthly membership fee. Pricing depends on your student's individual plan and session schedule.
For specific pricing information, please contact our center directly — we're happy to walk you through the options and find a plan that fits your student's goals and your family's needs.
The number of sessions depends on your student's current skill level, the exam they're preparing for, and how much time is available before test day.
As a general guide, most students preparing for a major exam such as the SAT®, PSAT®, or ACT® attend two sessions per week over three to six months. For state assessments or classroom exams, the timeline may be shorter, depending on the student's starting point and goals.
After the diagnostic assessment, we'll have a clear picture of what your student needs and can recommend a session schedule that gives them the best chance of success.
Yes! Students can join live, face-to-face online sessions with our specially trained tutors in Snellville and follow the same personalized learning plan as they would in the center.
No, both formats provide the same personalized learning plan, face-to-face instruction, and caring guidance from our tutors. Many families choose a combination of in-center and online sessions for added flexibility around busy schedules and exam timelines.
