We offer a flexible summer math camp. You can choose from our popular monthly membership plan or our Power 15 Package! All sessions are scheduled, so you know ahead of time exactly when your child will be occupied for an hour! 

Our Summer Program included

Customized Learning Plan: Each student at Mathnasium receives an individualized learning plan to meet their specific needs. We work with students of all ability levels! Our Center Director will deliver a comprehensive series of assessments to find any foundational gaps in your child's math knowledge. As a student grows with us, their learning plan will also grow, as we continuously monitor their progress and give them an opportunity to show mastery.

Expert Instructors: We have a diverse group of math teachers, math specialists, special ed teacher, and high achieving HS students. We pride ourself on employing local talent, as a majority of our team has a short commute to Mathnasium. 

Proven Results: For more than a decade, the Mathnasium Method™ has transformed the way kids understand and appreciate math. Larry Martinek, creator of the Mathnasium Method, has spent 40+ years designing, developing, and refining this approach based on his extensive experience teaching math to kids. We build math knowledge upon what they already know - this helps kids learn quickly and boosts their confidence right away.

Summer Power Math Workout Programs

Numerical Fluency

Our Numerical Fluency Summer Program teaches students techniques not only to master, but to extend

beyond basic addition and subtraction facts. Key concepts include the ten fundamental prerequisites

and skills necessary for addition and subtraction fact mastery, visual representations, word problems, and

more.

 

Multiplication Fact Fluency

The Multiplication Fact Fluency Summer Program exposes students to scalable strategies that are

applicable outside of the standard 12 x 12 multiplication table. Key concepts include count-bys,

repeated addition, commutativity, launching points, word problems, and more.

 

Fractions

Students looking for either a preview of key fractional concepts or who are in need of a refresher before

next school year are perfect for our Fractions Summer Program. Key concepts include naming and

drawing fractions, improper fractions, mixed numbers, complements to the whole, comparing fractions,

adding and subtracting fractions, ordering fractions, word problems, and more.

 

Problem Solving

Designed to create mathematical thinkers at all ages, our comprehensive Problem Solving Summer

Program allows students to experience depth in problem solving. Key concepts include mastery of

problem solving related to the four basic operations, proportional reasoning, fractional concepts,

algebraic problem solving, and more.

 

Algebra Readiness

Upon completion of our Algebra Readiness Summer Program, students will have mastered key concepts

in preparation for Algebra I coursework. Key concepts include expressions, linear equations, graphing,

proportional thinking, algebraic word problems, and more.

 

Geometry Readiness

Upon completion of our Geometry Readiness Summer Program, students will have mastered key

concepts in preparation for high school Geometry coursework. Key concepts include classifying shapes

and angles, transversals, congruence and similarity, surface area and volume, conditional statements, an

introduction to proofs, and more.
