Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Utah Valley University and her master’s degree in Mathematics Teaching from the University of Utah. She has a deep love of teaching and is committed to helping students find success and confidence in math.
At Mathnasium, Rachel is passionate about creating a supportive environment where learning is both meaningful and fun. She loves what she does and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for math with every student she works with.
Duyen graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a teaching credential. Over the course of her studies, she developed a strong passion for inspiring students to improve their math skills and see themselves as capable learners.
At Mathnasium, she enjoys creating a positive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to succeed. She values the chance to help learners build a solid foundation in math and looks forward to continuing to share her enthusiasm for the subject.
Sophia is pursuing an Engineering Associate’s degree at Irvine Valley College and plans to transfer to a UC. She is skilled in math through Calculus II and Introductory Statistics and enjoys exploring different ways to solve problems.
At Mathnasium, Sophia is dedicated to helping students grow in confidence and discover their own enjoyment of math. She loves encouraging learners to see challenges as opportunities and is excited to help them develop both skills and enthusiasm.
Huy holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and a master’s in Applied Statistics from Cal State Long Beach. He currently works as a senior data analyst, applying math and computing to solve real-world problems. Alongside his professional career, he is passionate about teaching.
Huy has taught Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, as well as computer science and data analysis skills. At Mathnasium, he enjoys helping students strengthen fundamentals, deepen understanding, and gain confidence in their abilities.
