Jane
We are thrilled to introduce Jane as a valuable new addition to our team! With over six years of experience teaching 3rd grade and working with youth programs at the St. Louis Art Museum, Jane has a proven track record of creating meaningful educational connections with children.
In addition to her teaching experience, Jane was the founder and facilitator of the Show Like a Girl program in San Francisco, a unique six-week social-emotional learning program for 12-year-old girls in economically disadvantaged communities. This initiative reflects her passion for fostering personal growth and empowering students, especially those in underserved areas.
Jane’s teaching philosophy centers around setting high expectations and providing the necessary support for students to meet them. Her unwavering belief in her students’ potential drives her to deliver rigorous lessons that not only encourage academic growth but also inspire self-confidence and resilience. Her ability to make personal connections with students and her dedication to their success make her an exceptional role model.
Jane’s kindness, sense of humor, and genuine care for her students create a welcoming and positive learning environment. While her math expertise primarily focuses on K-5, her commitment to fostering a love of learning and her fervent dedication to her students’ success make her a perfect fit for our Mathnasium team.
Now, in retirement but still passionate about working with students, Jane is excited to continue making a difference and helping students achieve their full potential in math and beyond.
