My name is Vaughn, and I am excited to help tutor our growing students in Las Vegas. I retired after 33 years with UPS, having worked my way up to a director position in the UPS corporate office. I have a BS in Business and an MBA, both from San Francisco State University. I have 3 kids, and two are pursuing 4-year degrees. I have a passion for math, travel, movies, music, and the Las Vegas Raiders!
I’m Armen! I am currently a senior in high school, and I am president of our school’s Speech and Debate program. I have a distinct love for public speaking and mathematics; being an instructor is a great combination of both. I look forward to instructing the next generation of students and helping them push themselves further in math!
I’m Jason. I’m a first-year student at UNLV and am currently working towards my degree in mathematics. I love math, soccer, and teaching. My passion for math began when I was young, and my goal is to instill the same passion in my students.
I'm Ms. Sydney, and I'm a high school senior at WCTA who's always had a passion for math! I like instructing at Mathnasium because I love seeing the kids' days get better as their session goes on! I also love being able to show them little math tricks to make their work a little easier!

I'm Elias! I am currently a Junior at Desert Oasis High School, and I plan to pursue a variety of hobbies and interests in the next few years. I am really enthusiastic about music, and I have a passion for reading as well. I look forward to helping students Learn and Have Fun!

Hello, my name is Julian Scott, and I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where I earned my degree in Nuclear Engineering. I believe math is an essential foundation for every student, and I enjoy helping others build confidence and understanding in the subject. That is why I am excited about the opportunity to teach at Mathnasium and support students in developing strong problem-solving skills.
I truly appreciate teaching kids who come in and put their hardest in being the best version of themselves. I'm happy to be the one to challenge these kids and assist them along the way.
I’m passionate about helping people truly understand and appreciate mathematics. Outside of teaching, I’m a programmer, game developer, musician, and an avid reader with interests in psychology and philosophy. Most of all, I look forward to inspiring students and sharing the wonder of math every day!

Brandon Meyers is a Center Director at Mathnasium and is an almost lifelong Las Vegas resident, having grown up in the Las Vegas Valley since middle school.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, Brandon spent 10 years in management roles, where he developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that he now brings into his work with students, families, and staff.
Brandon is very family-oriented and is a proud father of three daughters. He values building strong relationships with students and families and creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow in confidence and skill.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing video games.
Lauren moved from California to Nevada in 2023 and quickly found a home at Mathnasium. She holds degrees in mathematics, anthropology, and liberal arts, and credits her success in math to the amazing teachers she’s had throughout her life. She believes that a strong math foundation is key to academic success and lifelong confidence.
As Center Director, Lauren is passionate about supporting students on their math journey and is deeply committed to the Mathnasium Method. Outside the center, she enjoys interior decorating, participating in Twitch streams, and spending time with her cat, Beans.
Dan earned a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. He worked as a CPA at Price Waterhouse before building successful companies in real estate and executive recruiting. Inspired by his mother, a longtime Las Vegas principal, Dan brings a deep passion for education and mentoring to Mathnasium.
He has taught and tutored children of all ages and is dedicated to helping students develop a love for math. Dan believes that with caring guidance and the right approach, every child can build confidence, succeed in school, and learn math in a way that makes sense.
Laurie graduated from UCLA in 1986 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Before joining Mathnasium, she built a successful career working with Fortune 500 high-tech companies, including IBM, SAP, EMC, TIBCO, and MicroStrategy.
Laurie’s passion for teaching and working with children is deeply rooted in her family values. Her father, a dedicated special education teacher, spent over 30 years shaping young minds in California. Following in his footsteps, Laurie is committed to empowering children in the Las Vegas community by improving their math skills, fostering a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, and building their confidence to succeed academically.
In addition to her work at Mathnasium, Laurie volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), where she advocates for the best interests of children in foster care. This role reflects her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and supporting their growth and well-being.
