Aileen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Math minor from UCLA. Opening Mathnasium has been a dream come true and combines her love for math with her passion for helping others.
She enjoys using visual methods and Socratic questioning to deepen understanding and build student confidence. Her favorite part of teaching is helping students feel capable and excited about math. Outside of the center, Aileen enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her dogs.
Jonathan earned his degree in Mathematics from Palm Beach State College and has over three years of math tutoring experience. He enjoys using visuals and asking guiding questions to help students build deep understanding.
His favorite part of teaching is seeing students grow in confidence and discover that math doesn’t have to be intimidating. Jonathan is dedicated to helping every learner feel supported and successful.
Joel graduated from Texas A&M University with a major in chemistry and a minor in philosophy. He has taught and tutored math, science, and logic subject areas for over a decade.
He loves helping people work through problems and experiencing together the joy of overcoming them. When his free time, he loves hiking, karaoke, and video games.
William is a student at UT and an undergraduate lab assistant. He has always enjoyed teaching, starting with tutoring his younger sibling, and now brings that energy to Mathnasium.
He loves the moment when a math solution just “clicks” and helps students build the intuition to get there. In his spare time, William enjoys reading, gaming, and diving into lab work.
I am currently a math major at The University of Texas in Austin, and I’ve had over 3 years of experience teaching math. My favorite part about teaching others is seeing their growth daily, it makes me very happy to see that I’ve made a meaningful impact on a student’s academic development.
Lindi is currently a student at the University of Texas studying Economics. She is from Waco, Texas, where she used to teach at Mathnasium. She love helping kids feel confident.
