Center Director
Angie was born and raised in Indianapolis before moving to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University, where she studied Athletic Training and Math. She taught high school math in Metro Nashville, later becoming a childcare director, and eventually found her perfect fit at Mathnasium. Angie blends her passions for helping kids and making math fun.
She loves puzzles, theater, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. Her goal is to help make Mathnasium of Spring Hill the largest and most impactful center in Middle Tennessee!
Jennifer Speer
Owner
Jennifer is a homeschooling mom of three and a successful entrepreneur with a B.B.A. in Finance from Southwest Texas State University. After discovering Mathnasium, she and her husband sold their business to bring this powerful program to their community. Jennifer’s unique perspective—as both a parent and educator—helps her connect with families and students alike.
She’s passionate about providing a fun, effective learning environment that truly makes a difference in kids’ lives. Fun fact: She graduated college with a 4.0 GPA in just 3.5 years!

Larry Martinek has dedicated his entire career to improving the way math is taught. From inner-Spring Hill classrooms to top private schools, Larry has worked as a teacher, consultant, and curriculum designer. He developed the Mathnasium Method™, a groundbreaking approach that helps students build number sense, boost confidence, and truly understand math.
Though not based in the center, Larry remains a vital resource for Mathnasium instructors, offering expert insight to help students thrive. His mission: to make math make sense for every child.
