Christian is currently studying Elementary Education at Waubonsee Community College. After spending two years in chemical engineering, he discovered his true passion in teaching through his work at Mathnasium. With over two years of experience in various roles, including Center Director, Christian brings a well-rounded perspective to supporting students.
Algebra is his favorite subject to teach, and he finds great joy in helping students experience “lightbulb” moments. In his free time, Christian enjoys exploring new hobbies and continuing his personal and professional growth.
Tim is a college freshman with a focus on Algebra, which also happens to be his favorite subject to teach. He values helping students build strong foundational skills and creating a calm, supportive environment where they can thrive. Tim has been with Mathnasium for several years and was recently recognized as Instructor of the Quarter.
Outside of Mathnasium, he enjoys playing chess to keep his problem-solving skills sharp. Tim is passionate about helping students succeed and gain confidence in their math abilities.
Yzabelle is a junior at St. Charles East High School, currently enrolled in Calculus BC. She is actively involved in Math and Science Honor Societies, her school newspaper, and Educators Rising. She also volunteers weekly, tutoring middle school students. Yzabelle enjoys sharing her passion for learning and finds that teaching others helps deepen her own understanding.
Outside of academics, she loves drawing, writing, and playing the piano. She is excited to help students at Mathnasium develop a true appreciation for math.
Jacob holds a degree in General Mathematics from Illinois State University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching at McKendree University. He has been with Mathnasium since 2020 and has served in roles including Center Director and Instructor.
Jacob enjoys sharing his love for math with students and believes in the power of the Mathnasium Method to make learning engaging and effective. A devoted Cubs fan, he also enjoys playing chess and piano. Jacob is passionate about helping students succeed and feel confident in math.
