Hailey is an Actuarial Science student at Arizona State University with a lifelong passion for mathematics. She has always been drawn to the challenge and logic of solving complex problems and enjoys helping others build confidence in their own mathematical abilities. Hailey believes that every student is capable of succeeding in math, and she takes the time to discover each student’s “missing piece”—the explanation or approach that helps concepts finally click. Seeing students gain confidence and experience those rewarding “aha” moments is what motivates her the most. She is passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where students can not only improve their skills but also develop an appreciation for mathematics.
Damien is a senior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School who has always enjoyed helping others, regardless of the subject. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, catching up, and creating new memories together. This same enthusiasm carries over to his work at Mathnasium, where he enjoys supporting students in their learning while building meaningful connections with them. Seeing students grow and succeed continues to inspire him to teach and create more positive experiences along the way.
Roopesh graduated early in the top 1% of his class and is now a Pre-Med freshman, working toward his goal of becoming a doctor. He’s always appreciated the clarity and confidence that come from mastering math and enjoys helping students experience those same “aha” moments.
Outside the classroom, Roopesh plays pickleball and enjoys the violin and piano as a creative balance to his studies. He’s also completed over 700 hours of volunteer work with organizations including Banner Health and Cholla Library, and finds fulfillment in making a positive impact in his community.
