Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Jackson Cook

Math Instructor
Jackson is a sophomore at Sandra Day O’Connor high school. The three things he loves most in life are his dogs, marching band, and math. Math is his favorite subject in school, and he constantly pushes himself to learn more about it. He adores helping others, and nothing makes him happier than helping people understand new things. Seeing kids flourish and grow always leaves him with a smile on his face.

Braden Scott

Math Instructor
Braden is a freshman at ASU studying Computer Science. He has a passion for mathematics, science, and music. He plays the saxophone and has competed in music competitions in Chicago, Texas, and Indiana. Spending time with family and growing in his faith are his two major joys in life. The most satisfying moments in his time spent tutoring occur when kids have an epiphany and sudden understanding of a topic they have been struggling with.

Laasya Kottsa

Math Instructor
Laasya is a senior at BASIS Peoria High School. She has always found math to be an interesting subject, and loves working with kids and watching them learn new things. Some of her hobbies are playing basketball, swimming, and reading. Watching children grow and find an interest in learning in general, is what she finds to be the most rewarding part of this job

Izzy Schwartzkopf

Math Instructor
Izzy is a junior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School. She has always been good at math and loves working with kids, so Mathnasium seems like the perfect choice. Outside of work she has an interest in art and choir, having awards for both. The best part of the job for her is getting to know the kids and see them grow into knowing and loving math!

Adhitya Chandra

Math Instructor
Adhitya is a senior at BASIS Peoria High School. He is a long-time lover of math and science, and he enjoys teaching others about the things he loves. He’s made it big in international science competitions, but he also takes joy in simply helping kids at Mathnasium. He wants to see the students he teaches grow over time and develop the same passion for the field that he holds.

Abhi Kilaru

Math Instructor
Abhi is a junior at Paradise Valley High School. He has been an active participant inside and outside of the classroom in math. He enjoys basketball in his free time, and represents his school's varsity team. He enjoys the interactive aspect of Mathnasium and the impact he can have on the kids. As a striving healthcare professional, he is deeply interested in patient care and face-face interactions which also fuels his enjoyment to work at Mathnasium.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
