Braden is a sophomore at Arizona State University majoring in Computer Science. With a passion for both mathematics and music, he has competed in music competitions across the country, including in Chicago, Texas, and Indiana, playing the saxophone.
In addition to his academic interests, Braden values family and faith. He finds tutoring rewarding—especially the moment a student suddenly understands a concept they’ve been struggling with. Braden loves making math approachable and meaningful, and he’s proud to help students discover their own “Aha!” moments.
Nikita is a junior at Paradise Valley High School and an aspiring engineering major with a strong passion for math. She loves the logical clarity of math and the comfort of there being one right answer—something she finds unique among academic subjects.
Outside of the classroom, Nikita is a longtime dancer and a dedicated tennis player on her school’s varsity team. She finds great fulfillment in helping students grow, and watching their confidence build day by day inspires her to continue her journey in both teaching and STEM.
Aishani is a senior at Basis Peoria who views math as both a science and an art. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion and a source of confidence. She believes there’s no single way to approach math, and that makes it all the more powerful and beautiful.
She plans to pursue a career that blends her twin passions—Art and Science. At Mathnasium, Aishani loves helping students discover their own connection to math. Watching them grow and gain confidence fuels her own dream of sharing knowledge and creative thinking with others.
Braden Parker has been tutoring in math for more than a decade, beginning by tutoring his fellow students in high school, continuing through university and into today through Mathnasium. Math has always come naturally to him. If you asked his mom (who was also a teacher), Math was his first language, and English was his second. He loves sharing understanding of math, and will tell anyone and everyone that will listen how important math is in day-to-day life. He believes that Mathnasium’s mission is truly making the world a better place, and he is glad to be a part of it. To him, the best part of the job is hearing a student say “Oh! NOW I get it!” In his free time, Braden loves analyzing artwork. Finding metaphors in movies, themes in musical albums, or unique storytelling in video games, human creativity is as boundless as it is interesting, and it is always a joy to look at what people are saying, and how they are saying it.
