Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Stillwater

Celeste Nelson

Hello, I’m Celeste Nelson! I grew up in Clayton, WI, but have called Hudson home since 2003. My desire to be a teacher and love for math resulted in my earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education and a Master of Education degree with an emphasis on Teaching and Learning. I retired from teaching in 2022 after thirty-one years in the education field; the last twenty-six with the Hudson School District. During that time, I taught a variety of classes including middle school math, and served as the middle school math interventionist for nine years. I have been working for Mathnasium since 2018. What was to be a part-time retirement job has resulted in a new adventure as Center Director and Co-owner. The Mathnasium Method of determining a child’s learning needs and creating customized learning plans and the awesome instructors at Mathnasium of Stillwater helped make that decision easier. I’m excited to be a part of the Mathnasium family and look forward to working with you and your child.
