We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach built around personalized instruction, diagnostic assessments, and interactive, engaging learning experiences.
Every student starts with a free diagnostic assessment so we can get a clear picture of their current skills, strengths, and goals. From there, we create a personalized learning plan that pushes them forward through advanced concepts at a pace that keeps them appropriately challenged and motivated.
Sessions are delivered through live, face-to-face instruction in a supportive environment, either in person at our St. Matthews center or online.
Yes. While our enrichment program is designed primarily for students performing at or above grade level, we understand that every student's math journey looks a little different.
If your student has a potential and real enthusiasm for going further in math, our tutors will work with them to build the foundational skills they need while weaving in enrichment-level thinking and challenges at a pace that fits where they are right now.
The free diagnostic assessment gives us a detailed look at where your student currently stands, including their strengths, the areas that are ready for deeper exploration, and their enrichment goals.
We use those insights to put together a personalized learning plan that provides exactly the right level of challenge from the very first session, so students feel motivated and stretched in the right ways from day one.
Absolutely. While our enrichment instruction typically goes beyond grade-level material, we can align personalized learning plans with each student's school curriculum and long-term academic goals, including:
Move into accelerated or honors math tracks
Prepare for advanced courses such as Algebra, Geometry, or beyond
Build the skills needed for school placement exams
Support critical academic transitions, such as from elementary to middle school math
Prepare for placement in Kentucky's gifted and talented programs by demonstrating the advanced math skills those evaluations require
When helpful, we align personalized learning plans with the Kentucky Academic Standards for Mathematics (KAS for Mathematics) and can help students prepare for the KPREP assessment and local school expectations.
