As a retired engineer, I know how important it is to have a fundamental knowledge of mathematics. So many foundations of our daily lives are based on science and technology and math forms the base of those subjects. It's important for our kids to learn, and hopefully enjoy, math early in their education so they can pursue the careers that interest them. As an instructor at Mathnasium, I'm happy to be a part of that process.
I'm a Computer Science student at Macalester. I hope to help students build positive impressions of math! My favorite kind of math is algebra, and I love teaching it, too!
I’m a student at the University of Minnesota studying Developmental Psychology and Computer Science. At school and at Mathnasium, I love exploring how kids think about math and hearing students' creative ideas when they tackle a new concept. I believe that the right support early on can help build a student's attitude and confidence around mathematics for the rest of their lives. Mathnasium's personalized method helps each student feel special and capable and I am proud to be a part of it!
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
Are you interested in changing lives through math? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching math. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
