Lauren joined the Mathnasium team following an already extensive career dedicated to education and community support. Beginning with her initial work as a Speech Language Pathologist, she has supported families as a resource and classroom teacher for over 10 years, and, more recently, as the leader of a center providing intensive assessments and differentiated remedial academic instruction. Lauren is passionate about creating authentic connections with children, families, and their personal and professional teams. She believes all children should have the opportunity to reach their potential and develop a love of life-long learning.
Mitch is a student at the University of South Florida and has been a member of the Mathnasium team since 2022. Aside from instructing students of his own, he has also helped to train new instructors, ensure sessions run smoothly for students, and assist in numerous ways around the center so that students have a safe and fun place to learn!
Graysen graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education Curriculum & Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and was a math teacher an certified gifted education instructor in Tampa’s Hillsborough County Public Schools before joining the Mathnasium team! He is passionate about helping students discover the wonders and relevance of mathematics in everyday life, transforming it from a frustrating subject into an engaging exploration of concepts that can build essential skills for any occupation, and aspires to cultivate positive attitudes towards embracing challenges and using critical thinking skills to overcome them.
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. Jodi has been teaching for 20 years and has taught all levels from 8th grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes that every student can succeed and excel with the proper tools and support.
