Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Ashley Edwards

Instructor

I am originally from North Carolina. I met my husband of almost 30 years at NC State where we both graduated. We soon moved to Virginia where we raised our 3 children. My greatest joy, aside from math of course, is our 2 granddaughters! I have been tutoring for over 20 years and am so excited to join Mathnasium this summer! My favorite number is 7 because it is the number of the month I was born

Jessica Facenda

Instructor

I have always loved math and helping people, so I am excited to work with Mathnasium to help people learn math. In addition to math, I also am passionate about music, and have been studying classical voice for three years, and am in my fourth year at Governor’s School for the Arts. Also, my favorite number is 4!

Tony Ojeda

I'm from California and I am a scientist. I love the beach but also chilly weather. I have two golden retrievers, Penny and Peaches. My favorite number is 2.

Miko Marsh

Instructor

I am a writer who loves math, especially algebra. I have been tutoring since I was a student in college. I enjoy seeing students have "light bulb" moments and smile because they understand. My favorite number is the cube root of 343.

LaToya Warren

Instructor

I have been teaching for 10 years and tutoring math for about 12 years. Math has always been my favorite subject. I love sharing my love of math with students and helping them grow into math thinkers. My favorite number is 2. It is the smallest and only even prime number. The number 2 is in a class of its own, yet so powerful!

Lileigh Campbell

Instructor

I've loved math since 2+2. I have always been the volunteer to help other kids in class with misunderstandings. I love seeing that a child is proud of themselves. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy reading and writing as well as watching little kids. My favorite number is 1 due to the infinite possibilities.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
