Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Bernadette "Bunny"

Instructor

Bunny has a deep love for logic, which makes her passion for math shine. She believes math is a powerful way to make sense of the world and enjoys helping students discover how math can be both practical and exciting.

Outside of math, Bunny has a creative side with a strong appreciation for music and storytelling. One of her favorite composers is John Powell, best known for scoring How to Train Your Dragon. Bunny brings energy, imagination, and curiosity into every tutoring session.

Chloe F.

Instructor

Chloe studies art and theatre at Glendale Community College, where her love for creative expression blends beautifully with her lifelong passion for math. She enjoys showing students how math connects to the arts through symmetry in design, proportions in costume creation, and geometry in stage production.

In her spare time, Chloe loves crafting, drawing, and designing costumes. She's also a fan of red pandas and her favorite dinosaur is the Ankylosaurus! Chloe brings creativity and enthusiasm to every lesson, helping students see the beauty of math in both everyday life and the arts.

Jeff

Instructor

Jeff studied at Southeast Missouri State University and is a former teacher who’s excited to bring his experience to Mathnasium. He enjoys helping others and loves that math always has an answer—making it a subject where students can gain confidence through clear, logical problem-solving.

When he’s not working with students, Jeff enjoys gaming, model railroading, and staying active through fitness. One of his favorite memories is the time he hit a golf ball across a pond and watched it skip across the water before landing safely on the other side! He’s thrilled to support students as they strengthen their math skills and discover the satisfaction of finding solutions.

Vanshika

Instructor

Vanshika is a student at Mountain Ridge High School who loves how math can be applied to just about anything in the real world. She enjoys helping students make those connections and build confidence as they strengthen their skills.

Outside of school, Vanshika enjoys playing tennis, dancing, and meeting new people. She’s excited to bring her energy and enthusiasm to Mathnasium!

Mo Ahmed

Instructor

Mo Ahmed is a student at BASIS Peoria who loves exploring just how wild and fascinating math can be—poor Schrödinger’s cat! He enjoys meeting new students and helping them see math from a fresh, exciting perspective.

In his free time, Mo enjoys playing Super Smash Bros. with his brother, biking, camping, and hiking. He’s excited to be part of the Mathnasium team and share his enthusiasm for learning!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
