Jeff is the dedicated Center Director at Mathnasium, bringing a passion for helping students excel in math. He bring to Mathnasium several years of educational, consulting, and classroom management experience! He earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Business Marketing in 2006 and my Master's degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University in Chicago in 2010.
Not only does he have American curriculum experience; he also taught a Canadian curriculum for three years in South Korea at an International school where high standards and a diverse student population roamed the hallways. He prides himself on striking a balance between making learning both engaging and focused.
In my spare time, you can find him playing pool, going for a run, walking his dog, and traveling around the world with his partner. Anthony graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, and from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Anthony has a great interest in math, physics, music, chess, and computer science.
Anthony loves sharing his passion for learning with the community, and finds the process of sharing knowledge with future generations to be truly fulfilling. Anthony believes everyone can succeed in math, as in life, with targeted effort and a little guidance. He places a high emphasis on respecting others, being honest and earnest, and giving it your best every day.
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College.
Jodi has been teaching for 20 years and has taught all levels from 8th grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes that every student can succeed and excel with the proper tools and support.
Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Mathematics Education and Psychology. She has mastered math skills in the areas of College Algebra, Calculus I – Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics I & II.
Lauren developed a passion for math education during her first two years of high school, and it continued throughout her college years. She believes that math is meant to be challenging and enjoyable, not frustrating and scary. Since starting at Mathnasium in 2011, she has enjoyed the continued success of her students and inspiring them to love math as much as she does.
