Tiffany holds an associate degree in Math and Science from Golden West College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne. Before joining Mathnasium, she worked in accounting until homeschooling her son in middle school, which sparked her interest in tutoring. She sees math as a universal language, much like accounting.
At Mathnasium, Tiffany is dedicated to helping students gain confidence and truly understand math in a way that makes sense to them. Outside of work, she enjoys growing succulents and spending time with her family.
Charles holds degrees in Math and Economics from UC San Diego. Math has always come naturally to him, making his transition into tutoring a natural fit. His strong subject knowledge and approachable style help students feel comfortable tackling new concepts.
He enjoys working with children because of their bright, eager personalities and is passionate about showing them that math can be fun. Charles strives to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore, question, and succeed.
Chris earned his associate degree in Mathematics from Palomar College and is now completing his Math Education degree at Cal State San Marcos with the goal of becoming a math teacher. Although math was once his least favorite subject, he learned to appreciate it through strategy-based games.
Now, Chris values the problem-solving and logical thinking skills math provides. At Mathnasium, he draws on his own learning journey to help students overcome challenges and develop confidence. His approachable style and personal experience make him a relatable and effective instructor.
Kim is pursuing a degree in Neuroscience at Mt. San Jacinto College. She began tutoring in high school through the San Dieguito Alliance: STUDY BUDDY program, where she discovered her passion for education. Kim believes “math is the core to understanding” and enjoys guiding younger students toward that realization.
She strives to maintain a patient, supportive approach that encourages curiosity and confidence. Outside of Mathnasium, Kim enjoys music and looks forward to combining her academic goals with her love for teaching.
Sean is completing his associate degree in General Biology at Mt. San Jacinto College and will transfer to Cal State San Marcos to pursue his bachelor’s degree. His goal is to become a biology teacher, but math has always been a close second passion.
As a middle school student, Sean participated in Mathletes and enjoyed the challenge of problem-solving. At Mathnasium, he works to make math engaging and approachable. In his free time, Sean enjoys drawing, hiking, cooking, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
Alex studied Business Administration at San Francisco State University. Alex has always had a love for problem solving, so he took that passion and entered the behavioral and mental health field. He currently also works as a behavioral health technician at a group home for teen boys. It was there that he discovered an ability to tutor others while they did schoolwork. Alex believes that math, like so many other things in life, can be learned and mastered by anyone as long as the right attitudes are fostered. Alex enjoys spending his free time with his family as well as reading about and listening to debates of theistic philosophy. He also likes to go to concerts and sporting events, and aspires to work with a professional team someday!
Ben graduated from Julian Charter School's home study program. He is currently attending MSJC, taking computer science and coding classes. Math has always come easy to him. Ben's hobbies include cooking, baking, and gaming.
Andre currently attends MSJC, majoring in Computer Science and working towards his Associate's degree. Outside of the center, Andre enjoys working out, playing video games, and cooking at home. Andre also really likes all types of music, and the way it can carry different emotions. Andre believes that anyone can be good at math, especially when they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and make mistakes. His goal is to help create a space where students feel confident and excited to learn, because he believes that that's when math is truly fun!
Nathaniel is a rising high school student with a strong interest in mathematics and a passion for learning. Outside the classroom, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, has been dedicated to piano for over 10 years, and also likes playing video games in his free time.
Diane holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from UC Riverside, and a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Cal State San Bernardino. She taught math for the Riverside Unified School District for 23 years before becoming a Staff Development Specialist, where she spent 3 years training her fellow teachers. Diane is excited to be part of the Mathnasium family! She has missed working with students since her retirement, and loves that Mathnasium is "all about the kids". Outside of work, she enjoys sewing dance costumes, making puzzles, and going on dates with her husband.
Jamie started her journey with Mathnasium in 2016 as an instructor for Mathnasium of Murrieta, and then worked her way up to becoming the Center Director for Mathnasium of Temecula in 2017. She moved on to become the Center Director for other centers in the Inland Empire and Orange County area, before finding her way back to Temecula, where she now supports both the Temecula and Murrieta locations as the Director of Operations.
Jamie graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, with an emphasis in Medical Biology. Her favorite part of working with students is witnessing that lightbulb moment when the material begins to make sense, and seeing the smiles on their faces as their confidence grows. She enjoys being able to help each family relieve the stress that can come from working through such a challenging subject, and loves helping to build foundational skills that foster an appreciation for math. Outside of the center, Jamie can be found trying new boba places, playing with photography, and playing with her dog!
